Joe Hart
On BBC now as a pundit, just put himself firmly in the shop window with his comments.

Re: Joe Hart
Joe Hart was a good keeper once upon a time. He needs a good defence in front of him. He didn't have that yesterday. Shame really cos I was looking forward to another trip to Wem-ber-lee

Re: Joe Hart
To answer the op’s question...
He absolutely hates being a number two
He knows he’s ‘still got it’
Wants to play regularly
And most importantly...
Interested in getting a contract with someone at the end of the season.

If there's anyone in football with a longer head I'm yet to see it.

Re: Joe Hart
All of which points to the need to play BPF over him.
Re: Joe Hart
I don’t really get the hate for Hart on here. He’s never done anything but give his all for us. Hope he gets his move because some will never rate him.

I hope he gets a move too ... sooner rather than later. He currently cannot hold a candle to 'His Emininence' Nick Pope.

Wherever he wishes to go, I'll have a whip-round, and if necessary, I'll drop him off at the airport myself.
He has been a superb keeper, but those days are well and truly behind him.

Re: Joe Hart
There is no love-in but I don’t hate him like some. He had some MoM games for us and he certainly wasn’t to blame for the poor form of the team. When Heaton was here Hart was my third choice keeper. Not because he’s rubbish but because the other two are better. People don’t rate him because they don’t like his personality. Same with the likes of Rooney etc.

Yeah, if you consider winning the Premier League title and being the best out of an entire country at your job for a number of years failing.tarkys_ears wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 6:54 pmDon't really get the love-in either as all he's done is fail.

Re: Joe Hart
People love to see a winner laid low. The press feed it too, all they could do was big up John Stones then as soon as he got his big money money move they turned on him for not living up to the promises and expectations only they themselves made.

50k a week to warm the bench with 30k Vydra, no wonder it's a tough window in January @ bfc!

He was only on the show as he started life in Shrewsbury.
Not the brightest spark.

Re: Joe Hart
He’s not a bad keeper he’s just not the best fit for us. He’s tried his best for us. Needs a better defence in front of him and not a team that spends most of its time defending. We need more of a back unit which Heaton gave us as he was vocal and organised the players in front. Some of the vitriol is ridiculous and it’s almost as though some just follow what the media tells them in building people up to knock them down.

Our fan base are pathetic, it’s ok to sit slagging off our players while playing this super fan act and slamming others when they dare mention Dyche or the owners.

Re: Joe Hart
So do we pick our first eleven based on the size of their salary or only sign people on minimum wage if they aren't going to be considered a starter?
Not really sure what you're point is other than stating the obvious that Premier League footballers are on very large salaries and you can only play a maximum of 14 per game out of a squad of 20+

Re: Joe Hart
He’s been average for a number of years now, ever since his last year at City.
He will get a contract somewhere based on his name alone. He would probably be best suited to the Championship now.

Re: Joe Hart
Well doubt any players will be going to China, although Joe may be OK as his ability to catch anything is suspect these days
Being serious though he does get some stick on here and for the last 12 months he has only played when we have had a weakened defence in front of him

Joe Hart and his brothers.
Re: Joe Hart
Joe Hart's only "crime" as a Burnley player is not being as good as Heaton or Pope. Without them 2 he would have been a cult hero here.
