Pep Guardiola.
Having a little dig at the city fans for not filling the stadium for the game against Fulham.
Perhaps someone should tell him not everyone is earning £15,000,000.00 a year.

Re: Pep Guardiola.
Maybe the fans are sick of the fact he isn’t taking the cup seriously and playing his best 11, and don’t get me starting on the lack of kids for quid deal.

Re: Pep Guardiola.
The club same as ours should heavily discount to fill it
Not everybody can pay prem ticket prices so its a good chance to get new young fans on to see a prem team

Re: Pep Guardiola.
Ticket prices for Sunday's comfortable win over the Championship side were priced from £10-£35 for adults and £1-£20 for under-18s

Re: Pep Guardiola.
I mean they barely ever fill the stadium in the league or champs league so why should a cup tie be any different
Re: Pep Guardiola.
He can **** right off Fraudiola. Tosspot.
Wants replays scrapping and the League Cup binning but wants fans to turn up.

Re: Pep Guardiola.
Their hardcore turned up, their plastics didnt.
Also it's such a sh1t stadium to get yo and from, no real pubs, character or atmosphere either.
I'm sure the day, kick off time and selected for TV also played a major part.

Re: Pep Guardiola.
Yes - half price on average...more if you went in the more expensive stands and got your ticket at £15.
But I think we should have kept it at £10 and also should have encouraged the schools by giving away lots of kids tickets (or selling them for a pound if it’s not possible to offer free tickets).
Re: Pep Guardiola.
I know people will laugh but winning so easily most home games must get a bit boring? The game on Sunday was on TV as well, and was always going to be a one sided demolition job.

Re: Pep Guardiola.
Man City are a funny club. Their support over the years has been fantastic considering they share a city with one of the biggest clubs in world football. Obviously during the recent success they’ve gained some plastic fans to sell out the bigger stadium they now have, but they lack the hardcore to do it week in week out. I don’t think it helps Man City that the media machine around the club has made it a pretty soulless place to watch football. Most clubs have gone backwards in this regard, including ourselves, but it always seems especially so at Man City. It’s like everything they do is geared towards selling the extra seats every week rather than forgetting what made their hardcore so special back at Maine Road. It must be really grating for average working class Man City fans that for all their success they represent all that’s wrong with modern football.

Re: Pep Guardiola.
It is nothing new for City under it's current guise - the club's executives have long been in despair about the fans absence for Champions league games and last year they had to return tickets for the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley - I suspect many fans believe the club are going to go all out for the Champions League this year given Liverpool's run (and Pep's record away from Barcelona) and will be quietly saving for an Istanbul trip at the end of May
- I did a few posts on the Magic Money Tree thread last year about the financial struggles of their hardcore support - they tend to be from the poorest communities in the city
