Looks like 'Uddersfield get a %. So we prob get our money back.
As for the fee, seems fair and chased by several makes it right.
Yes! We’re in for Ronaldo
Wells played for QPR after it has been stated that we were going to recall him. Bristol City will want to win tonight so have fielded their strongest possible side, and have every right to do so, even if a deal was in place they still have the right to play them until it’s done and dusted. Sometimes just a gentleman’s agreement means they sit out so not too risk an injury.
I'd be more shocked if you were right.Blackburnclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 7:36 pmNot a chance this will happen ...lucky to get one in
Aye, I bet you've seen him play lots.
Yes, but if Wells had suffered a broken leg, they could have still sent him back. If anything happens to Brownhill, any deal would be off.Hedontplayforyou wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 7:39 pmWells played for QPR after it has been stated that we were going to recall him. I hope you're wrong...
Not released, he let his contract run down and signed for Brizzle for a big pay rise. Also rejected two contract offers from Preston.
Pretty sure I covered all that...dermotdermot wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 8:01 pmYes, but if Wells had suffered a broken leg, they could have still sent him back. If anything happens to Brownhill, any deal would be off.
Was out on loan actually Sherlock and Preston fans couldn't wait to see the back of him
Unlike a number of people I’m not going to claim that I’ve seen anywhere near enough of Brownhill to know whether he’s better than Lennon or Brady, but I know that he plays in a different position.
Looks a powerful player, but he missed a lot more than he scores based on that video.Tricky Trevor wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 7:30 pmVedat Muriqi on youtube.

Looks like an SD style player. Some goals, some good assists(holds it up well), tackles but I’ve never seen a highlights package with as many misses.
he's not a winger
we have Tarks for that
Just because someone activates the release clause doesn't mean a club can't bid more than £7m!Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2020 6:16 pmIf the release clause is triggered then the fee cannot be driven up as Bristol City are bound to accept every offer of £7m so nobody would benefit from offering a penny above that figure.
Where we could lose out though is that other teams could come in and blow us out the water in terms of wages and/or signing on fee
As soon as you meet the release clause it's then down to how attractive the deal is to the player. No point us offering 10 million and a 30K PW salary when someone else can offer 7 million and 60K PW, the player will choose the second option every time. The selling club cannot force the player to go to the club who offers the highest transfer fee.
