The longer it goes then the less chance of the deal going thru
Re: Brownhill having medical
What’s wrong with these medicals? When I joined the RAF, some grubby old bloke grabbed my nuts and asked me to cough. Job done! Looking back, I’m not sure he was even a doctor!

Re: Brownhill having medical
Got to be sure, don't want another Joe Gallagher who passed his medical by running up the Bob Lord steps
Re: Brownhill having medical
Yep, years back I was vaguely involved in the Andrey Arshavin transfer that ended up being approved a few days after the window shut and there was a whole variety of stuff involved.

Ever thought people have homes to go to and be with their families so the media part will be tomorrow?

Re: Brownhill having medical
Because in any business negotiations the longer talks drag on then the chance of failure increases significantly. Delay usually signifies a disagreement or problem. It may not of course but in my experience that is the norm

It was all signed and sorted last week. The tricky bit is coming up with a funny video about it

Looks like it was correct.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 7:21 pmUnsure on quality of source, but Brownhill apparently to be given number 8 shirt. Maybe from someone who's seen/heard of the pictures being taken before he's unveiled.

Re: Brownhill having medical
So, did he pass his medical?
Re: Brownhill having medical
The thing about Twitter is that all Burnley's signings are revealed, or at least rumoured, in advance on Twitter. So are all the signings we don't get. I bet if you look hard enough we will have been linked with all of Bristol City's first XI in the last few months; if you get fifty pieces of info and only 2 are true, and you don't know which 2, it's a lot less use than Chris Boden.
It's like the Daily Express weather forecasts. If they predict snow every day, and then one day it does snow, then they were right but useless.

Didn't we have a Brownhill here on a trial basis a few years back?

Wow some enthusiasm. To think I've only just recovered from being depressed after Drinkwaters signing video. The Enclosure wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 5:04 amhttps://youtu.be/mnParH-kHqI

What a difference wanting to be here it could make.
Re: Brownhill having medical
Some credible sources of information on there, too. Some decent journalists often post reliable stuff.dsr wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2020 11:35 pmThe thing about Twitter is that all Burnley's signings are revealed, or at least rumoured, in advance on Twitter. Obviously you're just believing anything from anyone, which is why you've been disappointed with your experience.

Re: Brownhill having medical
Agreed. If you look at what people put as a rumour, you can always have a good idea via various checks, of how reliable it is.
