He was an incredible keeper up to about 2015, if you like. I'm not sure what evidence from his subsequent games for Man City, Torino, West Ham and Burnley, and England in the 2016 Euros, lead you to believe he still is.
Being man of the match in half of the premier league games he played for us.

To be fair in most of those games he didn't have much if any competition as the rest of the team were awful. Yes he made some good saves and is still a decent enough keeper, but I wouldn't want him as number 1 in a premier league side.

Sorry I thought it was Chelsea after him not City or Liverpool.

Just to update you Chelsea have won a trophy in each of the last three seasons, The EPL, FA Cup and Europa League in that order.

Haha fair enough. Suppose they could still win something this year too.

We have an incredible keeper in reserve in joe hart...
You forget Joe recently made it very plain to see (on MOTD) that he is keen to move on this summer. Personally, I hope he does.

Before Pope came in, people were saying we'd be knackered if Heaton left.

We do seem to have it sorted for keepers. BPF will be the next big thing and we won't be missing Pope.
Haven’t seen him play yet, isn’t he really small?

Sorry I thought it was Chelsea after him not City or Liverpool.

As Arsenal, United and Spurs prove being one of the Big Six does not guarantee either of those "every year".

Like I said previously not saying he would stay or that he should, just that you never know what is important to people unless you are very close to them so it isn't a forgone conclusion.
When was the last time Chelsea weren't playing in European football? It must have been twenty years or so ago I bet.

You could have said that about Arsenal or United until recently, so as I said. Not guaranteed and also it is the Champions league that players want to play in and at the moment I would say only Liverpool and City would be a very safe bet for that.

You could still say it about Arsenal and United (although probably more like 30 years than 20). One or two may drop down to the Europa League each year but they often take it pretty seriously and you've still a much better chance of playing in the Champions League if you're playing for a club that qualifies for Europe every year compared to playing for Burnley.
