Watched the first halfhour of Baggies and it was horrendous. Definitely impacted a couple of chances.

Re: Blades v Bournemouth
I never expected Bournemouth to go down anyway as they always tend to have dips in form Win a few, lose a few. Bit like us.

Good news. Their next game is at the Turf and we could do with them not coming on the back of a few wins.

Re: Blades v Bournemouth
Bournemouth played really well for 30 minutes there and are a bit unfortunate to be only drawing. A bit of a sickener losing the lead in first half added time, let's see how they react to that H2. They'll need some determination to stay in this now.

What am I missing? Fraser shoots, Henderson saves, next player to touch is the B’mouth man 5 yds offside. Play-on.

You have to feel for those poor Bournemouth fans having to travel all the way home in this terrible weather.

Would be great to see Sheff Utd finish in the top 4. What a season they're having!
Re: Blades v Bournemouth
If we beat them in 2 weeks they will be in serious trouble.
However, they are getting a few decent players back from injury and this will improve them.
Brighton looking wobbly and have a poor win record.

I think it'll be Norwich, Villa & Brighton for the drop.

Re: Blades v Bournemouth
Not sure going from years and years of a very experienced keeper, Boruc & Begovic, to Ramsdale has done them any favours. He might go on to have a great career but in their situation experience is invaluable.
I remember Leeds going from Nigel Martyn to Paul Robinson and going down.

And we have to play 8 of the bottom 9. At this stage of the season we may face a tougher taskVegas Claret wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 3:50 pmBournemouth have to play every side in the current top 9 in their run in - that's brutal

Re: Blades v Bournemouth
From the first day I met him I thought he who shall not be mentioned was a bullshitter (although I won't criticise the football initially and him getting us into the Premier League), but I found Howe to be totally disrespectful when dealing with him and his assistant on behalf of the supporters groups. Never come across another manager quite like him. Stan could be hard work, Cotterill was a nightmare at times, but both were honest and respectful. Dyche might preach one club mentality but that's not the case and things have not been plain sailing since he came in either.RalphCoatesComb wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 5:21 pmYes. Re: Blades v Bournemouth
I met Eddie Howe once at an AGM, and he was very friendly and amiable with me and everyone else there all night.
Contrast that with Sean Dyche who is often very sarcastic with fans at such events when he’s had enough.
Can’t comment on how nice they are to their staff though, which I am told is a sore subject with Howe during his time here.

I think Mike Garlick summed it up to me when he said him and Tindall never wanted to be at Burnley

It must have been the same meeting that I met Eddie.
As for Sean Dyche, I like his sense of humour - not a pussy and tells it like it is!
