Warrington Cĺarets

Post by middleton claret » Wed Feb 05, 2020 12:13 pm

It has been suggested by Burtonwoodclaret that a possible venue to take in the Saints away game would be The Woodlands on the A57 in Great Sankey.
This post is specifically aimed at any Warrington or surrounding area based Clarets who may want to attend amongst like-minded fans. Here's a few for starters :-
BobLordsPencil Burtonwoodclaret
benbfc LowtonClaret
Ian, HunterST_BFC
brigante WazzaClaret
Darnhill Claret enduroclaret
If your up for it & I know it's been discussed before but let's make an effort to form "The Cheshire Clarets".

Despite the false name (relocated from Lancaster to Gateacre about 3 months ago!) that sounds like a fantastic idea. Would be really great to meet some fellow local clarets! Also I know Gateacre is technically in Liverpool but working in Salford and my missus family all hail from Penketh/Cinnamon Brow

Thanks for starting this new thread Middleton Claret. Its a 12.30 kick off . If anyone can suggest a better venue Id be happy to go with it, but the woodys has quite alot of TVs and plenty of room , plus cheap grub if anyoe wants it.

Kirriemuir is beautiful. I'm just a bit further up the road in Aberdeen, but I do a bit of glampimg with the family in Kirriemuir.

Keep me in the loop, for any future meets. Can’t make this weekend, son Billy is home for the weekend and I’ve promised him a trip to Manchester on the tram which he always enjoys. He’s 28 but functions as a five year old. That is every 4th weekend, Fri to Sunday am. So could have only managed Sunday this weekend. Hope it is well attended.

Just spoke to the proprietor (Chris) of the Woodies & he is looking forward to our visit and assured us of a warm welcome. Still to hear from :-
Lowtonclaret , Ian
HunterST_BFC , brigante
enduroclaret.
If the above are travelling down to Southampton for the game then fair play - cheer on the lads for us. We may be small in numbers as yet , but a Bene & Hot awaits those who can attend The Woodies.
