Southampton away support
Have we any idea how ticket sales have gone.. Big game for us but I'm sure the early kick off has dramatically reduced the following. I have family in Hampshire so luckily I'm able to make a weekend of it.. Hopefully still have a few there as the Saints are on a hell of a run and the lads need all the support they can get..

The last ticket that I ordered at the weekend was 668.Andreshotboots wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 10:14 amHave we any idea how ticket sales have gone.. Think we took 700 to Bournemouth, I'd guess we'll take something similar, 800 tops.

700-800 not a bad effort if that's the case all things considered..

Re: Southampton away support
The 700 or so to Bournemouth don't look to bad as it's only a small ground...looks sparce at st Mary's though! Silly ko time though really.Andreshotboots wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 11:09 am700-800 not a bad effort if that's the case all things considered..

Re: Southampton away support
I would imagine we've only taken a small allocation of tickets though so might not look too bad wedged in between the home support.
Re: Southampton away support
We took 1725. So our section will be half full/empty.

447 Atletico away fans attended the season's title decider vs Barcelona a few years ago - 800 watching Burnley at Southampton at that kick off time is a goof effort imho

You’ll notice they announced the allocation for this one.
They forgot to do it for Newcastle.

Re: Southampton away support
Hell of a journey. Went to Poole at the weekend to see my daughter and even with an overnight stay I felt like I was driving all weekend. Would have been infinitely better had Burnley been at Bournemouth (or even Southampton).
Re: Southampton away support
The club were clearly hoping to take the reduced allocation and thought no one would notice. But selling out in a day and a half kind of gave the game awayBordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 1:05 pmYou’ll notice they announced the allocation for this one.

Let's hope the game actually goes ahead. The forecast is showing storm Dennis in full force during the match, heavy rain and 63mph wind's.

Trains from London to Southampton are disrupted on Saturday too which will make it harder for some southern based clarets to make it too

Just noticed that on the BBC. I suspect we won’t get much notice at all if they do decide to call it off so will probably be half way there!TonbridgeClaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 1:57 pmLet's hope the game actually goes ahead. 63mph winds? That’s quite specific. I reckon they’ll be 64mph, myself.TonbridgeClaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 1:57 pmLet's hope the game actually goes ahead. The forecast is showing storm Dennis in full force during the match, heavy rain and 63mph wind's.
