I usually don’t mind Hooper but he was atrocious to both sides. Some diabolical decisions.

Strange. Seemed like every 50-50 was a Soton free kick in the first half and every foul was a Burnley booking. Apart from the worst challenge of the half by Cork.

Missed a clear foul on Vydra at the edge of the box and punished a deliberate elbow with a yellow card.

Not very good but fortunately didn’t cost us.

I think CT said in his preview that he managed to upset both sets of fans equally at Bramhall Lane and I think he managed that feat again today!

I’d rate his performances as...........

A 12 - gave us an advantage when we immediately lost any narrow chance of one and seemed to just make things up as he went along with no consistency on fouls.

B 12 - much the same as above really, no consistency whatsoever and just left folk baffled on both sides.

C 10 - The fact his shirts were a little tight under the armpits exacerbated the fact he seemed to be behind the play an awful lot.

D 10 - The situation where he allowed their injured player and physios to do what the hell they wanted in terms of leaving the field of play was just embarrassing. You’re in charge Sir, take control.

......and I would rate his outfit as being hilarious. I’m sure his nipples will require some camomile lotion tonight, the waistline of his shorts must have chafed them all game. I wonder what size chest his shorts were?
