Yep I lived in a haunted hotel in Sheffield (I worked there). It was well known to be haunted, and I saw what my eyes and brain saw - i.e. didn't make up or be imagining. People who say ghosts don't exist are massively naive

There are countless things that are impossible to disprove. I can’t disprove the existence of unicorns, I can’t disprove the existence of the tooth fairy or the Loch Ness Monster. I don’t need to disprove ghosts because there is literally no proof that they exist. The sheer idea of ghosts is fantastical and has absolutely no sound scientific basis.

There’s at least three ways to explain that photograph.

1) the negative is spliced with another photograph

2) The setup was of two people. The other person stood up during the long exposure and looked into the lens

3) the same person did the same as above.

I took my family on holiday to a very nice hotel in Greece where the the rooms were individual bungalows. We were told that we were in the older part of the complex that hadn't yet been renovated but the bungalows were bigger. This was correct as the bungalow was a little dated but was huge with a private terrace and sunbathing area.

On the first night I had a terrible nightmare about a family involved in an horrific traffic accident where they all died but walked and crawled out of the vehicle. I woke up with a start and went in to the kitchen to get a drink of water. Whilst there I went to check on my 8 year old son who was in his own bedroom. To my horror he wasn't there.

Panicking I started looking for him in the bungalow when I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and there stood my son. He just walked past me and got into bed. He never recalled where he had been or for how long. We were only round the corner from the main pool.

Next morning I went to reception and asked to change room as I just didn't feel comfortable anymore. The guy on reception said the hotel was full but asked for my room number in case a room became free. As soon as I said room 182 he checked his computer again and found us a room in the newer part of the hotel and sent a porter to collect our luggage. The rest of the holiday was perfect but I am convinced something had happened in that room.

What made you think they were dead, if they were walking and crawling and that?

They looked in a very bad way - let's put it that way. But you know , nightmares and dreams never make sense do they? They were definitely all dead though.

Nothing Spooky. You had a bad dream - nothing unusual there really. You were probably woken up by the front door closing. Although dreams may seem quite long and detailed, they might only be a couple of seconds and the whole car crash thing was conjured up with the bang of the door.

Your son was most likely just sleepwalking, it's quite common in children after travelling, probably just got out of his bed during the night thinking he was at home or was walking into what he thought was your room and then had no recollection of it in the morning. He was probably stood outside for a couple of moments. Then the hotel gave you another room, probably nothing to do with the room number.

I'm not saying it wasn't a scary experience, I wasn't there and the idea of my children sleepwalking into a swimming pool is a scary thought. However, there is nothing paranormal about this.

Dreams are brilliant though. I like watching documentaries exploring how the mind works. I find sleep paralysis interesting, people can sometimes 'wake up' in the middle of the night but find themselves unable to move because there is a 'woman' sat at the end of the bed. They experience being frightened-stiff, or a poltergeist is sat on top of them. Most times, they tend to happen in places of unfamiliar surroundings, like in 300-year-old hotels or B&B's in Cornwall.

The other thing I find interesting about dreams is the experience of immediately waking up with the idea that it was really profound, when it wasn't. Its means nothing to anyone, other than yourself.
