Given he's had two decisions overturned makes it more difficult and he was at it with the cards again towards the end of the game. Even so, generally a good performance from him.

7 yellow cards, was it a roughhouse?

Not roughhouse but I don't think there's any complaints about the cards. You know what you get from Dean in that respect.

Missed what was a clear and obvious penalty but could have been unsighted or relied on VAR to clear it up. Thought we had a good penalty shout in the first half when their centre half handled, still the best ref in PL by a long stretch.

It’s a shame we don’t mark the assistants. Would have been great to see the marks for the one in front of the Bob Lord.
I especially enjoyed the throw in farce in the second half.

Coped well, maybe should have given the penalty handball. The bookings seemed to be deserved.

Nobody can complain about the bookings, there were some poor challenges. Thought Dean was fine - he couldn't have had a good view of either of the two big decisions and wasn't helped by the clueless liner on the bob Lord side. That's what VAR is there for though and they got both calls right under the current laws.

No issues with any of the cautions. The assistant on the Bob Lord side must have wanted the ground to swallow him up as he had a terrible game.

Not much to criticise, maybe should have given Hendrick a red near the end (thankfully he didn’t).
