I remember about 4-5 years ago there was a picture put up on here when Lowerhouse won the League and someone called dressinggown said ‘that’s me far right’ when I looked I realised it couldn’t possibly be true..... as the lad stood far right was me! My mates and family still bring it up when I see them

Not by Deed Poll.
The Lowerhouse pics will be from me, unable to recognise myself in photos.
It still gets the main issue of the lack of travel options to Newcastle unresolved.

Re: FAO Leisure
During the mid to late Eighties and early Nineties there was a group of us who travelled the country following the Clarets in hired minibuses (Sensible Priced, Intack Hire, Salford Van Hire, Craig Dickenson etc). For some reason we all started wearing Dressing gowns. At a guess it will have been after picking someone up who was late and didn't have the time to get dressed. It then became a bit of a competition as to who could wear the most flamboyant DG. My prized attire was purchased at a Charity shop in Ripon on a trip to Hartlepool. It was a velour smoking jacket in claret with 3 pockets and sky blue trim. It had a sky blue rope belt complete with tassles.
I can tell a few tales from those trips.

Is Dressinggown the new smoking jacket?

Wrong colours and I'm considerably more handsome than those chaps.
