Re: Kelvin Phillips
Several months too late. I believe in the source that it was nothing to do with Leeds rejecting the offer - Phillips simply did not want to move. And with Leeds coming up, there's simply no chance.HieronymousBoschHobs wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 12:10 amWolves and Burnley are ready to compete with Sheffield United for Leeds' English midfielder Kalvin Phillips, 24. Leeds lad Leeds fan wanted to stay and get Leeds promoted, it will get interesting if they don't go up this season but he is probably out of our wage structure now

Re: Kalvin Phillips
If that's true and I don't think it's a certainty, then it's a horrible thought.
Re: Kalvin Phillips
Don't think theres any chance of us signing Phillip's now. If he does move on there'll be bigger clubs than us interested.

Could easily do a Villa / Fulham etc, and get relegated again.Gordaleman wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 9:05 amIf that's true and I don't think it's a certainty, then it's a horrible thought.

They are much more likely to be like Sheffield United.
Good for away games I guess.

Honestly, I can only see them as the biggest team in the world lifting the champions league trophy. Actually, no, they’ll do a Fulham.

Re: Kalvin Phillips
If Leeds come up, they'll go down.
Re: Kalvin Phillips
The mistake they'll make is trying to integrate too many signings into the team during the summer.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 3:02 pmI can't see it.

Re: Kalvin Phillips
The current Leeds team is a long way from PL level. If they spend big there are no guarantees.

Re: Kalvin Phillips
the Daily Star must be on drugs if they think we will go in for Phillips now, that ship sailed
Re: Kalvin Phillips
Why don’t you just go and support Leeds? Weird obsession with them.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Mon Feb 24, 2020 3:02 pmI can't see it.
