According to the Rate the Ref table, we are unbeaten in games refereed by Mr.Madley....
Re: Referee confirmed for Newcastle game
Have to say I have no memories of him refereeing any of our games. That’s probably good news!

Re: Referee confirmed for Newcastle game
Last time he refereed us was February 2016 in The Championship when we beat Forest 1-0 thanks to Sam Vokes.
The first time he refereed us was in the League Cup v Plymouth in 2012?
We drew that one and have won all four games he has refereed since then with the only away game being a 3-0 win at Derby in August 2013.
Fingers crossed on Saturday --particularly for my bragging rights!

The name Madley just makes me feel a little uncomfortable. Might just be my age.

Oh dear god.....
VAR official who disallowed chris Wood goal v Leicester. I am sure he has been VAR at another game where his incompetence was highlighted(maybe Chelsea away but I am probably wrong).
Like his brother for me, comes across as arrogant, incompetent and inconsistent.

And very well thought of in the A league.
Came to uk and was put on championship games as a starting point. Would anticipate next season he will probably refereeing in the Premier League.
Stranger things have happened tho

Yes saw something about him the other week and seems like he had a lot of respect from the players.1989_claret wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 9:44 amIt is and below is a link to him being mic'd up in his last ever A-League game.
