Supporters survey 2020...
Supporters survey 2020...
Anyone else had one through the door?
The questions are..
Are you a season ticket holder?
If no, why? ( sent with season ticket renewal letter )
Where you're based, UK or abroad ?
Sex
Age
Sexuality
Gender reassignment
Disabled or impairment
If so which
Ethnic group
Religion
Marriage status
Are you pregnant or given birth in the last 26 weeks.
I'm not sure what's behind this sort of "fan survey" but asks very little about actually being a fan and attending the Turf.
Asks for zero opinions good, bad or in between.
Every question also has a prefer not to say option, so not sure what they're hoping to get out of this survey or how they will use the results.

It's just a case of getting a better understanding of their customers demographic

Re: Supporters survey 2020...
They are sending them through the door now are they? Previously they have just been online.
Let’s get it right, it’s not a supporter survey and I doubt the club will be behind it. Possibly a Premier League or Burnley FC in the Community box ticking exercise.

I won't be doing it.
It seems that most things in life are now subject to some survey, i am going to get on with experiencing life instead of completing this nonsense and wasting my time.

Yes through the post with the season ticket renewal letter, which made the first question a little odd.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 12:36 pmThey are sending them through the door now are they? Previously they have just been online.

I've filled them in on line previously, and theres been a better range of questions that were actually based around attending games and your experiences.
I'm not sure why, or what they'll use the answers of "are you pregnant or given birth within the last 26 weeks" or have you had gender reassignment towards.
Like you say probably a box ticking exercise, but to umbrella it as supporters survey baffled me some what.
90% of the questions have nothing to do with being a football supporter of Burnley or otherwise.

I was out when MACCA started this thread - mine was behind the door when I got home. It's gone where it deserves to be, in the paper waste.
One Club For All on the front - that is very much Neil Hart and Burnley FC in the Community - he uses that slogan all the time.

Looks like they all want to demonstrate that a typical football club support, is made up of a total cross section of society.
Not about being a football fan at all!
Bin!

Why don't they stand outside one of the turnstiles for 10 mins ?claptrappers_union wrote: ↑Fri Feb 28, 2020 11:47 amIt's just a case of getting a better understanding of their customers demographic
That would tell them everything they want to know.

Re: Supporters survey 2020...
No doubt someone, somewhere on another pointless meeting suggested the need to demonstrate an inclusive support base from across our multicultural non gender specific society.
No point trying to attract fans with better facilities when you can hit them with statistics.
Anyway, it will keep someone, somewhere in gainful employment.

Re: Supporters survey 2020...
For the average supporter, these questions don't encourage you to spend the time filling it out and making the effort to post it.
It's obvious they are just trying to gather information on your sexual orientation, age and ethnicity. (I have zero interest in this data like the majority of people who will have received these forms)
I doubt they will even get a 1% return rate of forms.
Surveys either need content to encourage you to populate the forms or some sort of reward for doing so. eg the chance to make a difference, eg half time refreshment ideas for speeding up service. cup game loyalty for season ticket holders or something else which is topical. Then either have prizes for completed surveys or discounts on goods etc.

I'd guess that funding depends on collecting info like this for Burnley Fc community and tracking whether the large amount of cash they receive has a positive effect on further data collection.

Re: Supporters survey 2020...
Why does burnley fc want to know if a supporter has had their Todger chopped off, that is plain weird, what a strange survey to send people.
