It's a home FA Cup Quarter final against an Arsenal team, that one could have easily predicted would not be at full strength, yet Portsmouth made six changes and left their Captain and leading scorer on the bench ....
I'm fully aware that they lie 3rd in League One, and are pressing for promotion, and the increased TV revenues etc that come with that, but the chance of taking 40,000 + to a semi final at Wembley to show owner Michael Eisner, former Disney CEO, the Clubs potential ? It's an further indication of the dramatic decline in the status of the " Cup " !
Portsmouth's team for tonight ...
