Yes. Points of view are better than fake news.
Not difficult to understand really.

No it wasn't. He told us that games were being played behind closed doors. That turned out to be complete and utter bullshit.
Get to bed fitroll. The sleep and lack of stress will help your immune system old boy.fidelcastro wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:17 pmNo it wasn't. He told us that games were being played behind closed doors. That turned out to be complete and utter bullshit.
He now says they'll all be called off. He may be right, but it's hardly a Nostradamus standard prediction.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
You Dont seem to have taken up issue or shown vitriol with the OP on this Thread....just a thought.you seem a very embittered person.fidelcastro wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:17 pmNo it wasn't. Nothing wrong with me. I just have a problem with saddos who are so desperate for attention, they resort to posting falsehoods on a message board, and then, even more strangely, people like you who condone it.cricketfieldclarets wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:21 pmGet to bed fitroll. I was awaiting the :"your" Correction. so Predictable.

That'll only affect about 4 teams in the Premiership then if it's over 500damo_whitehead wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 3:38 pmScotland advising to cancel all events which have over 500 people in attendance - this isn't to say the same will be in England
I am assuming that by Armageddon you mean some sort of collapse of society or end of the world situation. I don't think that the virus will be that bad!I would assume if there is no football "next season" then we would all mostly have succumbed to the Armageddon and few hundred quid won't matter
To be fair I would be happy for the club to take the money this season. It’s budgeted for the money. And we’ve budgeted for spending it. And in reality we will save money by not going on.UnderSeige wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:57 pmBosscat wrote:

There is likely to be a vaccine early next year. I am hoping that one will be developed earlier. Also, as more people recover from the virus there will be an increasing number of people who become naturally immune.
However, it is looking likely that the virus is going to make the concluding of this football season difficult. It is also still likely to be causing disruption next season. I don't think that anyone knows how bad it will be at the start of next season. There are a lot of factors at work but I am not currently thinking that there will be a normal football season next season.
It would be good if the club would make some sort of announcement. E.G. to say that fans will be refunded if the season is disrupted or that the season ticket will be valid for the following season.
Sumner footy would be a silver lining on crappy situation.Jimmymaccer wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 7:11 amCan see it all just getting suspended for a month or two even...........no doubt some clubs will try to use it as an excuse just to abandon it (avoid relegation!) but now not the time to play those cards.
Cancel the euros but finish our season may/June.
But that goes against all predictions and expectations. If there is a lock down now then it would be likely to last for about 4 months. That's why they are loathe to close schools now or in the near future. I think that they are hoping to get up to the Easter holidays with schools before reviewing, since closing schools now takes us up to the summer break, so at the earliest they would reopen in September. I don't see how football would be any different. When football shutdown for the 2nd World War it remained shut down for the duration. So I can't see how this would be any different. You couldn't logically announce a restart date "mid-virus" in say May in the hope of completing the season.Jimmymaccer wrote: ↑Fri Mar 13, 2020 7:11 amCan see it all just getting suspended for a month or two even...........no doubt some clubs will try to use it as an excuse just to abandon it (avoid relegation!) but now not the time to play those cards.
