Belarusian Premier League

Post by Stickers » Mon Mar 30, 2020 9:00 pm

So apparently football matches are carrying on as normal in Belarus.
A) Has anyone worked out how to watch this from the uk?
B) is it any good?

Was thinking if I can find a way to watch it I might rename the teams to match premier league clubs, for example Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino could be Burnley, Belshina Bobruisk could be Newcastle and so on. What you think?

I might be well wrong but strongly suspect bookmakers are paying the Belarus FA to continue playing matches.

I'm working with someone from Belarus and he made me aware of this earlier.

Is it being shown on Sky Sports?

A) No.
B) No. I went to their Cup Final a couple of years ago. An ageing Alexander Hleb was playing and Diego Maradona made a non-appearance having just signed up for what turned out to be a predictably short stint as Sporting Director or somesuch at Dynamo Brest. Always good to take in a foreign match but nothing to write home about. Seen worse though.

Strange country. Minsk is beautiful.

Weird - I've just posted here on this topic and got a cached post from someone else pop up in my browser .. perhaps you're not allowed to mention Belarus!

Not only are they playing but letting crowds in.
President Alexander Lukashenko has suggested "vodka and saunas will ward off COVID-19" Itll be interesting to see how that goes, would prefer hot showers and whisky/whiskey myself though.

Not worked out what channel it’s on yet but the next matches are scheduled for this Friday according to this
https://www.flashscore.com/football/be ... /fixtures/
So might be worth surching some of these fixtures on friday

I'm pretty sure they will be on bet365 tv. If you have a funded account you will be able to watch it.

If you don't have a bet then create an account and deposit £5. Once you have realised how bad the standard is, withdraw your £5.
