It doesnt seem that long ago I remember Cricketfield posting a picture of his last new born child in the arms of Tom Heaton. How time flies.

Exactly. All good news welcomed in difficult times and baby delivered by people in the NHS who are currently under enough pressure tbh.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 8:41 pmI did mean the baby. Congratulations to CC and all his family, great news in these times of doom and gloom and just to tell you a story , a wise old truck driver said to me many moons ago, you're not a real man until you have a daughter, I asked him if he had a daughter, with a grin on his face he said Seven and it was totally true. Congrats

Re: Congratulations cricketfieldclaret...
Thanks all. So many kind messages. Absolutely over the moon. Overwhelmed. Proud. Every description possible.
His mum is absolutely incredible and did an amazing job. Can’t wait to get him home to meet his not so big sister.
So proud. I was in shock when first one was born but instantly in love. This time been hit with emotion from minute one. Probably because I know just how much a baby makes you feel, along with everything that’s going on at the minute.
We didn’t find out what we were having with either. And had no preference. Would have been happy with two girls or two boys but have to admit having one of each is a special feeling. And he can wear his sisters football kits.
Having a child definitely changes you for the better. Having two is only going better me even more. And no concerns about my daughter not getting the same love - my love for her has just doubled not halved.
My dad, like the rest of the family is super proud and can’t wait for everyone eventually to be able to meet him.

Re: Congratulations cricketfieldclaret...
The postman just arrived with a package from Holland. Scanned by the home office. Must admit I was a little nervous as to what the could contain
Turns out a lovely little Helmond Sport baby set. Joey from Helmond is part of the group that arranges the trips between Holland and Burnley for the fans group.
I’ve only met him briefly a couple of times although my brother went to a PSV vs Inter game with him. Even a message is appreciated. But I Thought that it was an incredible gesture for him to send something over.
