Re: Donald Trump
So,you agree. Between 3rd January and March 10 th, Trump banned Chinese people from flying in or out of The USA if they were not related to an American citizen?
And that, it was not specifically Trump, but rather Trump's administration that disbanded the pandemic response team.
I wish OJ had had you as his lawyer.

Re: Donald Trump
Partly because it was disbanded in 2018 but was reformed immediately within a different Government department.

Re: Donald Trump
Why,these are your arguments,as pathetic as they are?
Some of the members were absorbed into the national security council. But ,the pandemic response team was gone.
If you are going to build a defense of trump, build one.
If not, go away and maybe write a book with no words just emojis.

Anyway it’s Mother’s Day today do I got way nicer things to attend to.

Re: Donald Trump
Amazing how often he seems to lose it with women.
Re: Donald Trump
and in this instance a woman who had a far eastern origin (probably Chhhiiiiiiina)
Re: Donald Trump
He does seem to open his mouth before he thinks about what he is saying. In this case, I don't think it was a deliberate slur against the speaker. Just in his head he was thinking, this is a Chinese looking woman, and that put the thought about China into his mind, and out it pops without any consideration. And then he knows he has done something really stupid so he scurries off. It's not a suitable way to carry on for the head of state of a nation.

His tantrums are hilarious Well, they would be if he was joking (or being 'sarcastic'). But the fact that he is serious and so deluded is rather tragic.

Re: Donald Trump
While I don’t side with the insinuation by some that he mentioned China because of the woman’s ethnicity, his general incompetence is truly breathtaking. A total stain on the office of President.

I’m sure the lady was American. I have posted on this thread previously that her appearance is Far Eastern which is why Orange Dons “unconscious bias” made him mention Chiiiiina...

Don’t feed the incels.
Re: Donald Trump
No, Einstein, you're the one doing the assuming and it's such a blatant stereotype from a smug, virtue signalling, morally superior liberal. You don't know what Trump was thinking. Your post, however, reveals that you think anyone of far eastern appearance is Chinese. Caught with your pants down
Re: Donald Trump
Can we apply the same standard to you?
Re: Donald Trump
Your man Johnny Orange Trump isn’t fit for office and disgraces himself daily. Face up to the fact and you’ll feel a whole lot better. You might even find yourself able to post on other threads!!Uwe Noble wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 3:44 pmNo, Einstein, you're the one doing the assuming and it's such a blatant stereotype from a smug, virtue signalling, morally superior liberal. And meanwhile, nobody's taking about Trump deflecting then storming off like a petulant child because of a 'nasty question'. The latest in a long line of such incidents.

Re: Donald Trump
For many years it has been a widely understood convention that using the Nazis (or specifically Hitler) in a comparison is a sure way of losing an on-line argument. I must say that I am starting to feel the same way about the phrase "virtue signalling". It was briefly useful but now seems to be a way of saying "you're a loony lefty" without bothering to construct an argument.

Only needed a ‘MSM’ for a full house.
Re: Donald Trump
I've constructed a lot of arguments for the "orange man bad" brigade over the years. Problem is they don't engage because can't think dispassionately when it comes to Trump and are convinced of their moral superiority. Hence I think Trump Derangement Syndrome and virtue signalling are pretty apt.keith1879 wrote: ↑Tue May 12, 2020 5:52 pmFor many years it has been a widely understood convention that using the Nazis (or specifically Hitler) in a comparison is a sure way of losing an on-line argument. He didn’t put anybody in their place. He just shouted China again and walked away like the man-child he is.
This is the biggest fallacy about Trump - that he’s some kind of ‘take no crap’ brute who tells it like it is. In reality, he’s a bully who can’t handle even the slightest of questioning.

Re: Donald Trump
He’s a coward. He lacks the intelligence to counter even the most simple questions. I guess that’s not his fault, but in that case he should really hand over the reins.
Re: Donald Trump
Was he this bad 4 years ago? I can't remember but when I have watched him recently I henestly feel that I am watching someone who is mentally ill...and I mean that in the literal sense ...not as an insult. I feel that he is suffering from some sort of degenerative condition.

Re: Donald Trump
I assume you're referring to Frumpy's latest tantrum last night? She didn't ask a disrespectful question at all, merely a question the orange idiot didn't like and didn't fit his agenda. He reacted in a predicable manner................ 'toys out of his pram'! Frump only understand one word...."ME"

Hi keith1879,

I don't think he was (as bad) but then we hear/see the bloke every day now and three and a half years in office has revealed just how off the scale he is. I don't know whether what we see now is what he was or whether he has degenerated. He's certainly a case.

Re: Donald Trump
He might yet be re-elected,but he'll have to turn the polls round,he achieved that in 2016,however he's now the incumbent,so it'll much harder for Trump to play the anti-establishment figure.
A new poll is out from Redfield and Whilton strategies testing differing levels of support in an ordinary election versus an exclusively vote-by-mail election (VBM isn't available in most states as of yet).
Ordinary VI:
Biden 47%
Trump 40%
Third party/write-in 4%
Undecided 9%
VBM VI:
Biden 48%
Trump 39%
Third party/write-in 4%
Undecided 9%
Congressional Democrats probably began their push for inclusion of nationwide VBM in coronavirus relief packages too late to be successful in this endeavour.
