Ryanair couldn't care less about their passengers, never have never will. Do you really think they will go bust?nighty wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 7:08 amdsr ...agree 100 percent with the season ticket money and players .......
also on the ryanair scenario , i dont understand why so many people are against the voucher scheme , surely they will be booking another flight in the next 12 months , i accepted the voucher and it is so easy to implement once you book your next flight, we should be trying to help these aviation firms if possible by keeping them afloat , believe me if ryanair went bust the days of easy affordable flights will be gone , they are the modern day company who brought foreign destinations to the normal masses affordably , come on guys lets try and help them
They flout laws and regulations on a regular basis. Why should they (and other airlines in this case) be able to ignore the laws of this country regarding refunds?
Ryanair are an absolute disgrace at times in how they treat their passengers.
Re: Season T
Jet2 holidays are a brilliant package airline company, I use them every year for our family holiday. I just hope they survive with all this going on!
Re: Season T
Would not travel with anyone else if possible, have always been fantastic, and on the odd occasion when things have gone wrong, like diverted flights due to medical emergency they've been brilliant.
Currently got two further trips booked with them, might struggle with the October one, hopefully next June should be OK.

Spot on that dsr.dsr wrote: ↑Wed May 13, 2020 2:58 pmIf the players are on full pay, there is not a chance in a million that I will treat the club as a charity case. If they want me to even consider giving in effect a donation of 20% of my payment, then I need to be sure that the players are matching it in a wage cut.
If they can afford to carry on paying the players full time, they can afford to charge me only for the matches I am entitled to watch.

Another Jet 2 fan here. Helped out immensely with a few issues re return flights to Berlin a year or two back and were v helpful. Good on board, not treated like cattle unlike Ryanair.
Hope they get through this, though I fear O'Leary's lot are the only ones in a strong enough position to come out the other side.

Re: Season T
Why? Because when I tried to change there were no flight up until December (December is a no go for me) for the same price. I say same price but there were no flights under less than and extra £50 per person.nighty wrote: ↑Thu May 14, 2020 7:08 amdsr ...agree 100 percent with the season ticket money and players .......

I’d rather have the money and that opens up more flights with more airlines.

The Cup matches is a great idea that should see no cup match sales for season ticket holders for the next 150 years.

Club are just waiting to see what's happening. They will refund as it is the right thing to do.
If the club need help they should ask for it. Charging people for something that isn't there is not right. I expect renewals frozen and refunds for any money taken divided by the season and paid on the remaining games we will not be attending. Will be interesting to see what happens and how in touch with the fans they are. All eyes on you BFC.

Really impressed with Jet 2. They gave us a bottle of fizz when we flew to Rome to celebrate our 40th anniversary in September. Re: Season T
Whatever happens, there is no chance of supporters going on the Turf to watch the remaining matches of the 19/20 season, so that money needs to be refunded to those who've paid.
After that, season ticket direct debit payments should be suspended until further notice, because supporters won't be attending matches anytime soon.

You should be given the option of a refund considering it’s becoming quite clear we won’t be sat on the Turf in 2020 at the very least.

Re: Season T
I was given stick a few times for suggesting that the club should be communicating. And this was Part of the purpose of me writing to the club weeks ago. Still nothing though.
The city tickets are as much of a joke.
Ive said before. But it’s as much in the clubs interests as it is the fans.
There will be people cancelling every day. And it’s harder to get them to sign up than keep them!
Simple update would have sufficed. Scenario 1,2 and 3 this, that and the other would happen.
I suspect they’re just banking as much interest as they can on the funds.

I got the similar stick for suggesting roughly the same, other companies, and football clubs have managed it.

You can’t really charge someone for a product you can’t offer. Not sure of the legalities though. A bit of communication would help. As said above it is very hard to win fans back. Just ignoring them won’t help.

There will be a lot of people owed a lot of things who have very little themselves due to changes in circumstances. Personally think it’s a bit of a joke.Sheedyclaret wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 10:04 amI want a response because I want my money back I was due refunds off several organisations during this lockdown for things being cancelled all have returned my money now only 1 company hasn't I'll let you guess?
I’m down for 5 season ticket payments for last seasons last payment. And two lots of 4 for this season as of next Monday. And 4 tickets for City.
I’m starting to be inclined to cancel next Monday’s because why would I pay?
If the club said any payment would be offset against next season we can attend or goes towards x y and z or gives you extra points. Basically any clarity I’d just carry on. But as it stands paying £100 a month for nothing and they don’t have the courtesy to communicate a clear plan.
Every other organisation is in the same boat. But they’re all explaining what’s happening.
Football always seems to think it’s different. And relies on that blind faith we all have.
Well the funny thing is. I’ve hardly missed it truth be told.

Re: Season T
You would imagine there will be a lot of folk in Cricketfield's position, contemplating cancelling their DD's.
The club really needs to put something out or could face a nightmare, trying to unpick who has paid what (and possibly who is due what), when this is all over and we can go back to the stands.
In terms of me so far, Aer Lingus owe me £2500 which they promised back at the end of March and Hotels.com owe my company £150 which was promised back in mid March. There are companies out there handling this worse than BFC, it appears...

Re: Season T
I got a phone call off BFC saturday about the England U21 game, stating I'd be due a full refund on those tickets as It has been cancelled.
The gentleman on the phone offered me a couple of different options, 1 way was an offer to put the full cost of 12 tickets back in my bank via a transfer.
I took that option
Not sure if thats BFC or the FA that are pushing that fans get called and refunded.
But if they're sorting thst out, then surely their own fans and season ticket issue can be too far away on the agenda.

More money due out at the end of the month and I am still waiting for a refund on my City away ticket, surely the club can't delay an announcement any longer.
Come on BFC get your act together, after all you keep saying that you are the club of the community.
This is no way to treat your loyal customers

Look they had me down for €68 , now not a lot but phoned them and got the cash back in a few days . Your is a hell of a lot bigger , i would send all the details back to your bank and claim a cash back from your Card .
It took 2 weeks to get cash back from another flight i had with Ryan Air when i went to my bank as they " said money would be returned in 5 to 7 working days " which is wasnt so the lied and the bank gave me the cash back .

They offered a voucher for the value plus 10%. As I travel across to the states a lot with work, this was useful so I accepted.
That said, we're now 8 weeks since the offer and this morning they again said they were getting through the backlog.
I'll give it another month (I can't fly anywhere till at least then) and if not, I'll go for the refund as you've suggested.

I'm going to be bouncing back and forth across the pond as soon as Mr Trump orders the borders open again so there's no rush for me to get the money back.
Plus as it's worth an additional £250, I'm happy to leave it there. If Aer Lingus goes bang, mastercard will cover the tickets, anyway.

I doubt that is how it works. Burnley will be the agent collecting money on behalf of Man City. when you book a holiday with a travel agent, the agent doesn't have to pay you back if the holiday doesn't happen; same with football.
