A big Whooooosh for Paulatky there
Anyway, well done Burnley. They’ve waited until everything has been laid out by the government and rightly so. Let’s hope we get back into the ground sooner rather than later next season when it’s safe to do so.

For next season they offered you to be able to continue paying direct debit, pay in full, pause your payment and pay when football returns or cancel altogether. Maybe you should have cancelled full stop for next season.
Considering this refund is for games that we have been forced to miss, if you are expecting a refund for next season before any games are missed when they gave you the option of not paying then you will be feeling upset again.

That's the one it should go to then - there's no rush with it though, you can't do anything with it until 15th June.

Still no email for us. I know it's only the 3rd of June and CT mentioned you can't do anything with them anyway until 15 June but I would have thought we'd have had something by now.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
My understanding was the that 15th June date just referred to the season ticket refunds. In the season ticket refund article on the club website there is no mention of refunds for the City tickets.Match ticket purchasersClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 3:59 pmIsn't that open on 15th June too.
But ticket office remains closed until then.
Just found this on the club website (but the email which I received only made reference to the 4 home games) -
Match ticket purchasers for the away fixture at Manchester City and the final four home fixtures will be contacted via email with their refund information and instructions to claim a refund.
Any requested refunds will automatically be refunded back to the original payment method, or suggested bank account.
EDIT - Just seen that there's a Updated Refund Information box within the article which gives the info as per Wilks post below.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
Match ticket refunds completed from 5th June
Match Ticket Refunds
Supporters who purchased tickets for; Manchester City (away), Watford (home), Sheffield United (home), Wolverhampton Wanderers (home) or Brighton & Hove Albion (home), will have the cost of their match tickets refunded in the following ways.
Match tickets purchased online and over the phone using a credit/debit card will be automatically refunded back to the paying card. This process is set to be completed between the dates 5th June & 12th June and requires no further action from supporters.
Supporters who paid for their match tickets in person at the ticket office have the following three options to claim their refund when the ticket office reopens on 15th June: By calling in to the Turf Moor Ticket Office (please ensure you have proof of ID and you know your Clarets Number), by calling the ticket office on 01282 446800 (Option 2 or 3) or by using the refund application form linked below.

Sorry, thought the match tickets was at the same time as the season ticket money - but just re-read and it is between 5th and 12th June.

Thanks. They’ve definitely got my email address as they update me when trying to flog merchandise !
Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
It could be much worse.
Sunderland fans get a pass to watch TV!
And for those who've paid for next season. No refunds just a pass again. You couldn't make it up.
There's hell to play on Twitter about it.

Nothing in my email folder from the club yet either.
Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
Ridiculous isn't it, if more than one season ticket in a household there's no difference either.

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
The best/worst part is if you have a household of 4 STH then you could be paying £80 to watch a stream of a game
Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
I emailed the club last night due to not receiving the email. This morning I received the following reply.
Thank you for your email.
If you have not received an email relating to the recent update on season ticket/match ticket refunds. The details can be found via the link below:
https://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/tic ... t-refunds/
Please note – it is not possible to claim a refund until MONDAY 15TH JUNE. Please ensure that you read the article thoroughly, before making a decision of your choice of refund option.
On the 15th June a link will become ‘live’ on our website, this will allow you to request the refund online, without the need to visit the ticket office.
Kind regards

I got a text a couple of days ago from my mate in Sunderland who was congratulating us on how we had dealt with things. I'd no idea they'd done that at Sunderland.
Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds

They all went out. Do they have the correct email address for you? Login to the ticketing system and check.claretburns wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 9:28 amAnyone still not had an e-mail about season ticket refunds and City away? Still nothing appeared in my inbox.
You won’t need the email though to claim.
Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
We didn't receive the email, we only saw it as it was in a reply from the ticket office. (above) I did ask them to look into it as we normally receive regular mails from them throughout the season. Knowing that others still haven't received them makes me think the club have a glitch in their system.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 9:33 amThey all went out. Mostly the up and coming fixtures, our opposition, they usually incorporate a few up dates on players, the manager etc.

A few friends of mine receive the mailshots by email, but none have received an email about the refunds.
In contrast, I don't receive any mailshots but have received an email about the refund.
Go figure !!!

Re: ARTICLE: Burnley confirm ticket refunds
I don’t receive mail shots but I probably opted out. But I did receive the email for refunds although it seems a lot of people haven’t. Basically the email is just a link to a page on the official site which I would assume they will make public once the refund system is activated next Monday.Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 10:27 amA few friends of mine receive the mailshots by email, but none have received an email about the refunds.

I receive the mailers from the club to the e-mail I have checked and also had the confirmation e-mail when I ordered the City tickets in March. I will check the site now and if I cannot find anything I will hold off till 15th before contacting the club.

Clearly the club system has a glitch as mentioned above, do I expect the club to look into it....... nah.
