The MOBO awards don’t exclude white artists. There’s no such thing as the MOWO awards so we don’t need to imagine how they would be perceived. We really shouldn’t be worried about opening up a can of worms. If you want to watch content that the BBC or Netflix have decided is not suitable for broadcasting by today’s standards you’ll be able to find it. In the same way that I’m sure you can find Bernard Manning videos which were no doubt seen as a bit of harmless fun not too long ago.
