Scandal mate..you should get a job with Matt Whatsisname on Watchdog. I don't have the time myself. Been trying to keep Rumpus on the straight and narrow for the best part of a month. Because I'm selfless like that. Chin up, bud
Re: Programme for match v Watford
It was only a few weeks ago that they had free postage for everything on there..

Re: Programme for match v Watford
So to get the 4 matchday programmes which would usually cost £12 in total will actually cost £32??

Postage is £2.50 not £5 but you have to pay the £2.50 per programme. I'm assuming that MT03ALG has, like me, ordered two and had to pay £5. It's a scandalous amount. If I ever thought of donating my season ticket refund, this would have changed my mind. They also suggested that you'd be able to buy all four at one point but it is just the Watford programme.

And I live on The Isle of Man.......the site treats that as “international” but it doesn’t actually cost any more to send mail to or from the mainland.........defaults to £15 postage.........
Not good.

I’ve just gone through the “process” and it’s £1.50 for postage, or £5 if more than one, which I would need to do as both nephew & godson have been getting them each match
Don’t really understand why, if the club shop is now open, why can’t click & collect.

Palace are doing a £12 bundle deal with £4 postage for their 4x behind closed doors programs.
No reason why ours should be any more expensive apart from greed.

Re: Programme for match v Watford
Not ordered a programme as yet as it stated £5 postage on my order for 1 programme. Might try again but still object to paying more than £3 for a programme. Will they be available in due course in the club shop?

Re: Programme for match v Watford
Because you ordered 2
If you order one it is £1.50 for p&p
If you order 2 or more it’s £5 for p&p
If you had ordered 10 it still would have been £5 p&p for them all (or 50p each)

Re: Programme for match v Watford
That’s a bloody joke. So it’s £2 cheaper to order them separately.
But it was definitely £2.50 for one when I ordered.

Re: Programme for match v Watford
That’s a little better but, like you said earlier, they should be doing them as “packs” containing all 4 games.
Re: Programme for match v Watford
The online system does have its glitches.
On the buy one get one free shirt offer I ordered 2 children’s and 2 adults on the same order thinking it would be £40.
But it charged me £45 as it groups an adult and child one and gives the cheapest for free.
I didn’t realise till it was too late but if I would have done it as 2 separate orders it would have been £40.
I emailed the club shop but they did not reply - which to be fair is not like them.

Got to give credit......emailed the club re £15 post toThe Isle of Man..........once I’d ordered, they’ve refunded the majority of the post charge which is fine by me.
Replied to my email straight away, so we’ll done on this occasion.

Re: Programme for match v Watford
I noticed a problem with the website this morning and it appears that they must have had complaints and resolved the issue.
There's now a message stating 'Please note. Postage 1.50 for between 1 and 5 programmes. 6 programmes and above will be charged standard delivery'.
This basically means that you get charged only £1.50 up to 5 programmes and £5.00 for 6 programmes or more.
I ordered 4 programmes and got charged £13.50. (£12.00 + £1.50 postage and packing)
This should now make it clearer for anyone else reading this post and would like to order their programmes which are definite collectors items in the future.

Glad they sorted it. Are they going to give you your money back though?

I suggest you contact the club and I'm sure they'll sort it for you.
Re: Programme for match v Watford
Ordered 1 ( don’t normally buy them but it’s a novelty and something to read pre match as not there) and it was £1.50 postage. Based on its thickness it’s probably about right. If ordering 2 or 3 plus then weight will come in to it and it should cost more. Can’t believe people are so up in arms about this. Wish they’d make more effort challenging the scandalous prices of tea and twixes.

Do we know if the match programmes will just be available online or will they also be available in the club shop?

I've spoken to the club shop via email. I was overcharged with the £5 and I've had £3.50 refunded.

Unable to get through to order programme from BFC. All details entered correctly but it wouldn't let me pay. Anyone else have the same problem?
