Re: PREVIEW: Depleted Clarets on their way to the Palace
The Chairman needs to decide between Rigg and our best ever manager as it's obvious the two don't go together. Surely this should be the Chairman's easiest ever decision.
Re: PREVIEW: Depleted Clarets on their way to the Palace
I hope I’m wrong but I can’t see Rodriguez playing tonight. I’d rather rest him for one game than lose him like Barnes and Wood for a considerable period of time.

I suspect he won't - then we'll bring Pieters in I would assume and play McNeil behind Vydra, leaving us with eight subs.

Jordan Ayew (pictured above) bares more than a passing resemblance to Phil Bardsley!

Re: PREVIEW: Depleted Clarets on their way to the Palace
We've already played two games in quick succession in hot conditions and only used two subs. Can the same players do it for a third time? It's asking a lot. OK, the weather has cooled down but the weather is always a level playing field. Lack of players, is not.
Sorry, I hope we get something tonight but I can't see it.

I'm looking forward to an unrestricted view at Selhurst Park this evening, so long as Amazon get their camera work organised.

Don't know what I've missed but what has happened with Rigg? Both CT and claretinStevenage making remarks which prompt me to ask as i've not read anything.

I'm with you on that. Even Sean seemed to endorse his position the other day in an interview. So why he's been brought into the argument, I don't know.cblantfanclub wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 5:09 pmDon't know what I've missed but what has happened with Rigg? Isn’t the main problem between Dyche and Garlick ?aclaretinstevenage wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 4:09 pmThe Chairman needs to decide between Rigg and our best ever manager as it's obvious the two don't go together. Surely this should be the Chairman's easiest ever decision.

Won't be the same, without a dirty great colunn and a low roof to obscure the play!Paul Waine wrote: ↑Mon Jun 29, 2020 5:02 pmI'm looking forward to an unrestricted view at Selhurst Park this evening, so long as Amazon get their camera work organised.

Re: PREVIEW: Depleted Clarets on their way to the Palace
With only 7 suns, 2 being keepers, only 1 who's played a competitive game for the club ( Long ) and 3 kids with no football league experience what so ever I very much doubt it.
If we can keep it down to a 2 goal defeat, itll be a decent result.
Regroup after a nice 6 days rest.
Good news if you want to pay off your mortgage early, just lump on Palace to win.

Re: PREVIEW: Depleted Clarets on their way to the Palace
I wonder if CT knew how depleted when he composed his preview?
The staring XI is fine for an away match. Two LBs should keep Zaha on Bardsley’s side and he can handle him. Problem arises with any injury, except CH.

Yep or Garlick.
I struggle to understand what the latter actual does other than hold a title
