Palace versus MIGHTY CLARETS

Post by IanMcL » Mon Jun 29, 2020 6:32 pm

It's Monday and time for our heroes to don their Claret and Blue armour and go into battle for 3 vital points, in our quest for Europe.

Madge is ready and already warming up for the big moment.

She understands is every chance she is making the bench but thinks Sean is having a laugh!

Good evening from a very wet & windy Glasgow, Madge is looking buoyant, expecting a tactical battle tonight, wouldn't be too unhappy with taking a point home given our injury woes.

Cricky that bench...

I wonder if Long has started to take his boots with him to games yet?

Well I have to say, I'm surprised you both went in with that, and not anything to do with McNeil starting in the centre.

So is Lowton injured as well now? Two keepers, yet he's not even on the bench.

I am surprised the PL let us get away with having not only a reduced bench but one just not up to it, reminds me sadly of the Cotterill days.

Currently in a war with Vodafone, Cairo base, over a modem. About to tell them where to stick their contract but will suspend hostilities at 1955 in time to make a brew and settle down for the ride.

Why not put some of the injured players on the bench instead of letting the opposition know we have nobody to bring on.

I know. Shame on him giving him millions to spend on shite. I mean £15m on a player who’s training with his former club. How embarrassing is that?

We are safe so what's with all moaning on here, now if we were in Bournemouth's predicament with their lengthy injury list, i'd be worried, but we're not so just for once can we can get behind the lads.

The good news is after tonight we don't play again until Sunday, so we've got a window to get some of our walking wounded back.

If you want to take the positive view, it's a chance for our youngsters to get a taste of PL action.
