Way way better coverage than either Sky or BBC... Actually interested in the clubs they're covering.

The performance and score helped, but I thought the coverage and picture quality was good.

Spent too much time showing the managers while the ball was in play, other than that I enjoyed the coverage.

I too enjoyed the commentators more than usual. Ally McCoist is about ten times better than Jim Beglin or Andy Townsend combined. Unlike those two he doesn’t tend to drone on interminably but keeps his comments short and occasionally amusing.
I thought they totally overdid the Ayew incident. They showed it about 20 times. Really, there were other things to talk about! After the game they were saying that Burnley chose to go to 3 centre backs. Are you kidding? We didn’t have a f****** choice!

So true, Barry_Chuckle! At times the camera direction was really annoying. Like come on we know what Roy Hodgson looks like for f**** sake.Barry_Chuckle wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 5:24 amSpent too much time showing the managers while the ball was in play, other than that I enjoyed the coverage.

Found an App for Amazon on our Roku for the game. Was more annoyed that I couldn't find how to turn off the subtitles than the coverage. Mind you. If you've ever watched live programming with subtitles, some of the subtitles were more entertaining than the game. I don't know if it's manually typed or some sort of voice recognition but they were having real problems typing what Ally McCoist was saying. Was highly amusing.

And at one point spent what felt like ages admiring the London skyline whilst you could clearly here the game going on in the background.

I starred with it but git immediate buffering. Switched to other sources and all well.

TBF I think Amazon Prime have done a pretty decent job of covering the footy this season, considering they are new to it. I find it a better watch than BT Sports
