Re: The Bournemouth match
Never a peno in this or any other universe.
Re: The Bournemouth match
The ref on the field thought no pen, the ref in Milton Keynes thought no pen, the retired ref in the studio thought no pen. It wasn't a pen.Granny WeatherWax wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 7:11 pmI’d have disputed it. It was never a penalty in a million years. Didn’t think so at the ground and definitely didn’t think so after watching MOTD.

Excellent post. Bit of casual racism mixed I with a bit of good old fashioned Neanderthal.Bin Ont Turf wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 6:23 pmI hope that little Jock gets kicked to first slip on the cricket pitch.

Isn't the term 'casual racism' just a sandal wearers term for..... 'well it's not really racist but I don't like it, so it's casual'?Middle-agedClaret wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 10:48 pmExcellent post. Bit of casual racism mixed I with a bit of good old fashioned Neanderthal.

I couldn't remember his name, I still can't in fact. I could search for it quite easily but I'm not really bothered about it.
He'll probably be rolling to first slip without being touched anyway.

I'm going for a Clarets 4, 1 win.

Eddie.Eddie's wife and Jason will not want to be there,Burnley? Fu*king horrible place!!! AllegedlyLoveCurryPies wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 11:55 am3 points today only moved us up 1 place. However, a win against Bournemouth could possibly move us up 2 or 3 places.
It’s not going to be an easy game, Bournemouth have a relegation fight on.
So all eyes on next weekend. Your predictions?

I just keep watching this over and over and every time I see it, it convinces me that Vyds just has to start tomorrow.
Just listen to the commentator.

No one has scored a better goal for the Clarets than that for many a long year. Not even Steven Defour.

Re: The Bournemouth match
We can't drop a place if we lose unless there is a massive goal difference turnaround. Long time since that was possible I reckon.
Re: The Bournemouth match
I'll be ont' Turf today, I haven't been since November when we beat West Ham 3-0 so I'm hoping for a similar result.
I'll be wearing my lucky socks

Re: The Bournemouth match
That was their easiest fixture of the 7 left- their next six look horrendous. Mau U, Man C and Everton away, Spurs Leicester and Soton at home and Soton results are better away than home. Looking very much like them Norwich and one from Villa, West Spam and Watford now.

Re: The Bournemouth match
So the Bournemouth fairytale is looking like it's over.
You'd like to thing they'll stick with Eddie like we did with Dyche and give him the chance to take them back up.

Re: The Bournemouth match
We need them to grab 2 or 3 wins..and stay up....they represent 6 points in our season, every season!
