Oliver did the right thing by reviewing the hand ball because it was hand ball and it led to a goal. The fact that it was a foul that led to the hand ball is neither here nor there with regards to the decision. I agree that play should have restarted with a FK to Spurs though, unless the VAR laws don’t allow for that. Not sure how Oliver can be blamed. If the infield ref was playing an advantage then it was for him to bring play back for the free kick.
agree to disagree :D

What about this scenario, instead of it being handball lets say a Sheff Utd player dives in badly and breaks Moura's leg, ball goes to Kaine and he scores - absolutely nailed on that the ref/var also sends off the Sheff Utd player for the foul - or do we just ignore the reason something happened ?
(not sure i've worded that well but you'll understand my point!)

Sure, it’s complicated and one of the many problems with things like VAR is it throws up scenarios you wouldn’t anticipate.

But in your scenario the VAR would be entitled to give a red card because sending offs are within their remit. Awarding free kicks aren’t.

if Sheff Utd play this narrow against us then hopefully Wood will be fit and we can play McNeil out wide and maybe Jay or Vydra as a 10

Kane scoring for Spurs late on takes a clean sheet off Henderson. If we can get at least one past him on Sunday, Popey will be looking good for the 'Golden Glove'.

Well it's Burnley v Burnley on Sunday. They reminded me of us. I actually clapped McBurney off watching on my own. Impressive and Moanario
losing is always worth watching. Nut job.

Sheff Utd back to being Sheff Utd, tough game for us on Sunday
Indeed! despite all the talk of the Blades losing their way, after that result they've gone back into 7th place, incredibly tight just 3 points between 7th and 11th, so anybody in that cluster who can finish the season strongly has a great chance of European footy.

Huge game on Sunday now, we need all 3 points, both Arsenal & Spurs could miss out on Europe altogether, that'd be a huge blow to them, i'd guess they budget for Europe every season, and the chance of keeping their stars would be diminished severely, can you imagine Aubameyang and Kane being content with no European football, can't see them sticking around.

Missed this Hull beat Boro 2-1 with an injury time goal, puts Boro back in trouble again, they're will be several teams hoping that Wigan's 12 point deduction is upheld to save their own skins. Just 3 points separating 18th and 22nd it's gonna be squeaky bum time for many, and that result has dumped Stoke into the bottom 3.

Definite handball by the laws of the game. Not sure why Spurs didn’t get a free kick though.
He’d played an advantage so once there is a handball he can’t bring it back for the free kick. But this handball rule is an absolute nonsense.
