Re: Today's Football
Wolves Arsenal should be interesting. Not too fussed about the rest.

Re: Today's Football
Brighton will be thinking a win today and they're safe. Think that would put them on 36 points.

Every single game today in the Championship has something riding on it.
Re: 2020-07-04 Today's Football
I know I’m going to sound like a pedant, but could we please put the subject title? I think it would help when we have a few days of footy in a row.

Re: Today's Football
A win today and they're virtually safe, can you really see Bournemouth & Villa putting 3/4 wins on the board in their few remaining games, football's strange but it's not that strange.

Derby/Forest and Bristol City v Cardiff City. I might also watch Wolves v Arsenal. Mind you, three games and you can end up with football fatigue.

Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
A win for Wolves would be good to keep us on the heels of Arsenal. It might also upset Man Ure.
Chelsea beating Watford would be good for the same reason.

Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
What is Daniel Farke thinking, today is the last chance saloon for Norwich, and he benches Cantwell and Pukki, have Norwich given up already.
Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
If Bournemouth play like they did against Newcastle it could be a cricket score.

Lolley scores for Florist.
We should be looking at him as Dwights replacement, when he leaves.

Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
He's one of the stand-out's in the Championship, doubt we'll get him though, he's contracted til 2023, plus he'll be 28 soon, so hardly one for the future, i do agree we need to be finding Dwight's replacement, though hopefully we can keep him for at least 1 more season, he's also on a long term contract, so we're not under pressure to sell, unless of course the offers silly money.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 12:44 pmLolley scores for Florist.

I'd prefer Derby to win - take 6th place further away from Rovers. Forest no chance of finishing ahead of Leeds.

Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
1-0 Brighton Trossard, underrated that lad, Norwich so open again, it's becoming comical now, hope they defend so meekly when we visit, Dwight, Jay, and Vyds will have a field day.
Norwich have lost all 19 Premier League games this season in which they have conceded first. They are the only team in the top flight yet to pick up a point from a losing position.
That's a frightening stat, no wonder they're propping up the table.

Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
Norwich are leaving copious amounts of space on the right, hope Dwight's and Charlie and watching their eyes must be lighting up, at the thought of playing this bunch, naive doesn't do their tactics justice, i know they're chasing wins, but defending so amateurishly, and leaving your 2 main goal threat on the bench, bizarre doesn't describe it. Norwich haven't managed an effort on target, and they're at home to a fellow struggler that's beyond dire.
Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
I'd love us to sign Buendia from Norwich for next season, but suspect he's well out of our reach.

Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
What are people's thoughts on Lewis at Norwich? This is only going off 2-3 performances that I've seen him, and we're obviously ok down the left, but he's looked a decent little player. Not seen him today, just in case he's having a mare.

Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
Can't say much on Lewis today, but he's one of those who you feel in a better team could do ok in the PL. Norwich have a few that individually are decent, and in a different set-up, you think they'll be good additions for several PL teams.
Aarons, Buendia, Cantwell, Godfrey, Hernandez & Lewis have all caught the eye throughout the season, and they'll do well to hold onto most of them.
Whether we could tempt any of the above to TM i have my doubts, but if we could i'd be more than happy with any of them, a few months under Sean, and you''ll see them flourish, but also doing their role for the team, that's where Norwich are lacking, pretty football, but a soft underbelly, and too many not prepared to do the hard yards.

Cantwell picks up his 14th booking. One more and his season is over.
Shocking really as I don’t even consider him a ball winner.

Derby equalise, after a pointless free kick, with 15secs left on clock.

Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
Buggered my super6 though had Manure up for a 3-0 win
Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
Had a feeling the first 10 minutes that Bournemouth might get something. Sloppy play from United, misplaced passes etc. Shows how important it is to start well.

Re: Today's Football 4-7-20
No mention for big Sam, getting the first for Stoke.
I have a mate who's a big Stoke fan, and work with a smoggy Boro fan. I was hoping Stoke would beat Colin last week, it would have left Boro 5 points from safety. Even with that result Boro must be praying Wigan go down.

3 places upfront, with Foden, Sterling, Kane and Sancho going for them. Be interesting on how he fits them all in. As those 4 attacking will be frightening!Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Sat Jul 04, 2020 3:40 pmdepends how many games Greenwood plays, I'd build the entire England team around Foden and Sterling
