Our performances don't suggest we're downing tools, in fact it's completely the opposite, and although it's a long shot, that European carrot is still being dangled. I'm writing off today, anything we get would be a bonus, but if we can beat Wolves on Wednesday, then we have Norwich & Brighton in our last 2, now from what I've seen of them, there's definitely 6 points on offer if we put in a shift.

I think Norwich had relegation in mind and so kept hold of their cash to plan for next season. You can't blame them for that.

Will anybody in the PL want Mings? I’d doubt it.

Depends what price Villa put on his head, but i don't think teams will be falling over themselves to sign him.huw.Y.WattfromWare wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 2:50 pmWill anybody in the PL want Mings? I’d doubt it.

Bristol City. Millwall, Sheff Wed all ahead away from home, Nobbers 1-1 with Forest, the rest all goalless including at Ewood.

At the moment, Rovers are 4 points off 6th. Need Preston to win.

Re: Today's football 11/7/20
Bristol City & Sheff Wed 2 up at HT, Baggies ahead at Ewood, Millwall winning they could yet nick a play-off place, Nobbers drawing, and goalless at Barnsley-Wigan, not really much use to either of those.

Re: Today's football 11/7/20
Rovers drew 1-1,4 points off 6th, but a Swansea victory would make that 6, and dent Leeds promotion chances, Come on you Swans, that would round off a perfect day. Oh! and a Chelsea win wouldn't do us any harm.

Re: Today's football 11/7/20
Yep if Chelsea are going to mount a challenge next season, Frank will have to dramatically improve them defensively, Sheff U could go 6th with a win, so much for the theory that they'd fall away. I see the drunk driver was involved in the goal.

Bullards!, Chelsea are soft as s**t, if they're not careful they'll miss out on top 4, that McBurnie prick scored i see.

Re: Today's football 11/7/20
I thought Chelsea looked there for the taking at the Turf to be honest but they just ran away with it. They are susceptible to the counter attack.

Re: Today's football 11/7/20
Incredible by the Blades. We have done superb but those missed chances at home in the draws against Spurs, Arsenal and the Blades could define our season. All three games we were well on top at the time, the three sides we are trying to overhaul. Not a criticism in any way but a “what could have been” moment.
Still a chance mind.

I hope that Lampard doesn't decide that his defence would be better with Popeand Tarky
Re: Today's football 11/7/20
Jorginho can’t hack English football at all. Useless.

I think our points total is about right. We collected points when we could have lost.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2020 7:10 pmIncredible by the Blades. Re: Today's football 11/7/20
dunno why you all care what the media think, flying under the radar and upsetting people is far more entertaining. I'm more interested in what Dyche thinks than Lineker

Mahrez delivery reminiscent of David Eyres. Praise indeed.
