BBC Football Page two days after we take a point at Anfield

Not dropped a point at home in 18 months and wiped from the frontispiece

That's fine. It's the main Football page, the Premier League page has to be different...

Errrr... no !

Theyre not interested, simple as that. The BBC's obsessions dont include Burnley FC

What are you on about? The game was on Saturday. The BBC are talking about yesterday and today. Keep up!

Replaced by things that have happened more recently, I think that’s what ‘news’ is supposed to be isn’t it?

You’d think we’d walloped them 10-0 with the way some people are going on.

It was a 1-1 draw, hardly the most interesting game that’s ever happened.

Unless there should be an article entitled, “Burnley fans wallow in yet another staggeringly brilliant result against a team with zillions more resources than them”. Which is up to date and will, in fact, remain topical for at least another week.

I'm not fussed about us not being on the BBC sports front-page but this post does, I think, somehow understate the extent of our achievement !!! I take it you're quite hard to please ?

The same people questioning why little ol' Burnley are not getting the credit they deserve, will also argue that Burnley are a bigger club than Aston Villa or Newcastle in another thread.

We beat them a few years ago, we beat City a few years ago and we beat Utd away this season. A draw against Liverpool doesn’t tank in my top 10 PL results for us, I don’t see what the fuss is about.

Because we are not London based. The BBC is very London centric.

Think they're based in Manchester now

Unquestionably a good result and we got a bit of extra coverage yesterday as well. However. They've already won the league and we've established ourselves as upper mid-table again. A few surprise results yesterday that have a bearing on relegation and European spots, Jack Charlton passing and Man City news today. A 1-1 draw, no matter how impressive it was between two teams who have little, not nothing; but little to play for. Was bound to be shunted down the list.
