Anyone who stops pro-ing for whatever reason can automatically return to the club they played for as an amateur. Which is as it should be.
As long as they return in a true amateur status. As we all know some clubs tend to not comply with this rule.

Ha, ha, I used to play for Jimmy's. :D
I played for the juniors on a Friday night in the early '90's and turned out for the seniors when I didn't have a game at Nelson.

He had some tweets that weren't very politically correct.

Read haven't got a pro so he will be sub pro'ing so they give Burnley a game. Burnley have Ocky playing.

I can't think they will be paying much for a friendly so he might just want match practice.

All Lancashire league clubs friendly games cancelled for July.

Probably with Blackburn and Pendle having so many cases.

I don't know but it must be enough to put the towns in lockdown.

They are in special measures but nobody is listening from what I've been told.

Not according to director of health in Blackburn. Cases will rise because of testing. If figures are too high still in a fortnight they will put measures in place, one by one till numbers go down, all to avoid lockdown
Not sure what Pendle have decided
Too many rumours and scaremongering going around.

It's bound to get political and the leaders of these boroughs will go on the defensive.

I don't know where the ECB have got their info from but they have quoted both areas being in pre lockdown and that's the reason for all Lancashire to cancel cricket.

No mention of sport being stopped in anything coming out of official channels in Blackburn, so it is strange from the ecb
Somebody better close the gates at pleasington this weekend then.

I can understand them not wanting clubs to travel accross boroughs to play, but inter club friendlies and the like should be allowed

Pendle cases will certainly go up this week because they have brought in an extra mobile testing unit. More tests = more cases discovered. Obviously.

That assumes all the players live where they play etc.

Some games going ahead as they are ‘Greater Manchester’ yet a high proportion of the players live and work in Lancashire.

It’s a nonsense.

Good news in that Padiham have been given permission to play their inter club friendly.

Other clubs will do the same I think.

Get them bars open.
