Re: The full cost-per-point league table
Impossible for anyone to have the level of information required to arrive at those figures.
Can only be informed guesses at best and will remain so until clubs' financial accounts are available early next year.

Re: The full cost-per-point league table
And cost of what per point? Transfer fees of squad? Wage bill? Full squad or 25-man PL squad?

Re: The full cost-per-point league table
Not sure even that makes any sense......their Wage bill to Jun'19 was £40.7m and they accumulated 89 points.
They had 54 this season, the same as ours.

Where's the OP when you need him ??
Even the Burnley figure is nonsense. That figure has our total Wage bill at £37m when we know the previous year was £86.6m

Nothing too wrong with that table, ewanrob, except once again they are comparing detail from different years.ewanrob wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 8:39 pmhttps://theathletic.com/1955655/2020/07 ... aUtJZQ8W2f

The Wages are '18/'19 whilst the points are '19/'20.
Clearly the Wage bill for Sheff Utd will be far higher for the season just ended, perhaps even double the £40.7m from the previous year. All of which means the figure in the end column will be completely different.
Re: The full cost-per-point league table
Exactly Royboy...a pointless exercise.
