Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
As much as I don't really see a lot of football this season coming for Brady, the idea should be to add to the squad at this point in my opinion, particularly as we have lost Lennon, Hendrick (who did play wide for us) and cannot rely on JBG these days for fitness.
I only really want to see Gibson gone now and then 3-4 in (preferably a winger, a central midfielder, a Gibson replacement and a right back).

Well if the guy comes in from Huddersfield, then we'd be losing one on loan and gaining one on a permanent.jedi_master wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 1:20 pmAs much as I don't really see a lot of football this season coming for Brady, the idea should be to add to the squad at this point in my opinion, particularly as we have lost Lennon, Hendrick (who did play wide for us) and cannot rely on JBG these days for fitness.

We could then still go for a winger.

Loan or permanent makes sense to me. I've always liked Brady but it's been pretty clear that he now isn't the player we signed. We have to wheel and deal with players like Brady. Only a year left on his contract - what are the chances of us realistically giving him a new contract (a years contract extension was a no brainer but a new contract is a completely different matter)?BurnleyPaul wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 1:07 pmSeen a suggestion on Twitter that Robbie Brady might be going to Huddersfield on loan as part of a deal for Lewis O’Brien.
He's just a number right now filling out the squad but he's unlikely to figure and also unreliable given his recent injury record. Let's get players in who we can at least rely on to be available most weeks.

Definitely. In Hendrick we had a player with an excellent fitness record who could fill in out wide. Quite risky having to rely on Brady and JBGJakubs Tash wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2020 1:57 pmLoan or permanent makes sense to me. Thanks for all the support guys.
I understand that I'm not everyone's cup of tea in a world that leans towards very brief ( sometimes empty look at me statements ) and putting the boot in. It's good to know that not everyone objects to my contributions here and that a lot are happy to live and let live or simply scroll past my posts if they don't want to read them.
To my detractors it might be beneficial to click onto the user control panel link in the drop down menu next to your names. You can simply add me to your foes list and then you won't see any of my posts.
Unfortunately, I can't do anything about people quoting them in full instead of scrolling up and deleting a big chunk of them.

For some reason, there are a number of posters on here who take a real disliking to posts longer than a couple of sentences. One poster in particular I find to be quite a bully with constant references to football manage/ FIFA whenever you post. I can only imagine they feel threatened by the intelligence it takes to put together a detailed post like the ones you write.
Anyway, back to the topic.

Yes. Because, when they do the league table at the end of the season to decide who gets relegated, those with the fewest points from wins (whether scabby or brilliant) and draws (whether scabby or not) get relegated. Currently, points are not awarded for the style of play nor removed because you were scabby when you won!

Which scabby wins would that be, the 3-0 against Southampton, the 2-0 against Norwich when we were in 2nd gear in both games, 3-0 against West Ham, 3-0 against Watford, or the 2-0 at OT, Oh! and the 3-0 against Bournemouth, and that's just from last season.
Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Teams in the championship would of beat all them teams on the form they were in. We could of played the kids as in under 16's v Norwich and still beat them. You know I'm right laddy.

This is a football message board and I for one value LTL’s posts. Read up on a few of the players he has touted and they certainly look decent talents. I’m not knowledgeable enough to know whether these lower league players will ever be able to step up but it’s always interesting to read his posts. If others like a character limit, suggest they either scroll down or head to twitter.rob63 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 22, 2020 12:49 amHi LTL, like KSR I might not always agree with your picks but I appreciate you making the effort to post the names of players you rate. None of the championship teams could have won those those games because they are not in this league and for a good reason
