Wow - play called off before the day is even due to start. What sort of tinpot ground are we talking about here?

Yorkshire under the pump and they turn it in. No surprises there.

Well Derbyshire draw and go 5 points clear at the top of the Northern section with one game to play against Lancs.

Only the top two teams on points from the three sections go through to the final so Yorkshire's season is over today. Wet, no fans and desperate.

I make it the 25th season that Lanky's Championship title/trophy charge has been stymied by the weather now.

Disappointing end to the game without doubt.
