Ohhhh wonder who the “Trialist” isClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Aug 29, 2020 12:27 pmForget my last post
Burnley side to face Shrewsbury Town: Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Taylor, Glennon, Tucker, Westwood, Goodridge, McNeil, Wood, Thompson.
Subs: Jensen, Elva-Fountaine, Mumbongo, Trialist.
(and yes I know it’s likely to be some 18yr from Burton Albion rather than Messi, but we can live in hope )

Re: Pre season friendlies
Knowing Dyche, he’ll have his CHs twatting the ball over his head every 5 mins. Messy.

Re: Pre season friendlies
Good to see him on the scoresheet again, if he stays fit he will be a big player for us next season.
Re: Pre season friendlies
Yes let's hope JBG gets a full pre season under his belt and gets to trust his body again, good player is JBG.

Re: Pre season friendlies
No Kevin Long. Is this why he wasn’t in the Ireland squad?

I see we are listed first for both results. Were they at Gawthorpe or on the road?

Re: Pre season friendlies
I know it's only pre-season, but Vydra and Wood both bagging is a good sign our forwards are finding the net.

Re: Pre season friendlies
If you look at the pre-season training pics there has been no sign of either Jack Cork or Ben Mee while Ashley Barnes has been working with the physios. The other one missing was Kevin Long but Dyche won't use anyone in a pre-season game if there is a slight problem which Long possibly has.

Can't believe Barnes still not available, that must have been the mother of all hernia ops.

Re: Pre season friendlies
Good to see the U23s and a few U18s getting some game time.
If some of these could step up it would save us a fortune, we could even make a few quid.
