I'm going to venture up to Padiham Vs Ribb Wanderers this afternoon.

Should be a decent game, Ribb have a few decent players including ex pro Ryan Canning in their ranks.

I think he's a Personal trainer at crow wood and always on radio lancs. He can't commit to full season pro'ing but has done a lot of sub pro'ing in recent seasons and usually gets a ton. Not so prolific as an amateur. South African ex Nelson pro.

You're welcome anytime mate.

I haven't been up much this year but they haven't been selling pies or any food.

It might be a bit more relaxed now though. I see Lowerhouse have an outside can bar on. Padiham weren't allowed to do it when the 20/20s were on.

I've not been down at all due to the restrictions, weather and I'm not 100% sure what is, or isnt allowed.
Been jammers with work too, just getting back on our feet again, so weekends have been our time to recharge and spend time with the kids.

Well if not this season, will certainly get down next 👍

I actually spotted him down at Crow wood when I nipped for a coffee this week (can’t afford to train there) he’s a great bloke, always felt he wasn’t right as a LL pro though as I’m sure he only batted. Spoke to him on nights out in town many years ago and he’s a sound bloke

Padiham make a very good 178 off their 40 overs on a wet strip.

Light rain has come and might spoil the day.

There were two men watching at Padiham today sat under a massive umbrella who had their own umbrella up as well.

Ribb batted very well and finished a good chase with 8 overs left.

So report me to the mods then you irritating knobhead. You clearly don't go to Lancashire League cricket matches, but post on here as if you do. (You also put up messages using alter egos, often answering your own posts using the same spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors.)
I will do this one last time, I challenge you to name just ONE person who will verify your existence as a supporter of Burnley Cricket Club where you claim to watch cricket, as I do. ('Longside Looney' and 'Overseas Bullshitter' are exempt.)

Now come on BRR , would anyone actually falsely claim to be BCC supporter. It is akin to saying you once supported Maggie Thatcher.

Apparently all Lancashire League clubs will have extra games for the next two weeks, because as well as the semi-finals for the teams that finished 1st in each group, they are going to have equivalent competitions for all the second place clubs, the third place clubs, and so on down the line. Ditto for the seconds. So there should be matches on virtually all grounds for the next two Sundays.

Me and SomethingFishey are on, I've not brought our dog though he's still a bit too giddy for a day at the cricket.

Over by the tea room, I'll keep an eye out for the dog and say hello.

Hello Sir, just been speaking to someone who knows you from down at Burnley CC.

I was in your year 6 group many moons ago. I wasnt aware it was you until a Gent just let slip your name at the cricket.

Hope you're keeping well

Well Burnley won at a canter to be fair.
They were never in any real trouble at any point in the game.

Well hopefully I can say hi at a Burnley game football io cricket sometime soon.

Enjoy your break.

So sorry lads, couldn't keep in touch as I left my 'phone at home. Old age you see.

We were sat right next to where the players enter and exit the field of play. Too busy drinking
and eating lots of things with chips for the majority of the game.

The 'House were never at the races today I'm afraid - far too easy for Burnley as it turned out.

Never mind, onwards and upwards.

Rally Lowerhouse. :) :)
