Re: Tark - transfer
Danieljwaterhouse - not doubting you as I don't know you and you have certainly gone all in there by saying that.
I would question though that you have put quite a lot in this thread over the last few weeks, has any of it happened? I am not saying that you're making it up but your track record for being 'ITK' is, as far as I can tell, patchy at this point?
Don't take offence to the post, just observational from my side.
On the subject of Dwight, I love him to bits as a player but I always believed we would make one big sale this summer and if it was he, Pope or Tarky, I would choose Dwight. I think the other two are more crucial to the team and less replaceable. If we were to lose Dwight AND Tarky however....well...

No offence taken at all!
I go off what I am told, so it’s second hand information at best and occasionally I get first hand info.
You’re right nothings been proven on the investor front (yet) and Dwight is still a Burnley player...
Rose was offered to us, not the case we’ve chased it followed up.

1/4 means they think it's an 80% chance, so if there were only two outcomes and there was no bookie's profit the odds of him to stay would be 4/1, about the same as the odds of us being relegated which plenty of people seem to think is almost a certainty.

LOAN!... LOAN!Danieljwaterhouse wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 3:00 pmIt won’t be in the media until it’s decided if we can agree terms with anyone they’ve offered (Gray/Albrighton/Choudry (loan)
That would be laughable if we only got someone until the end of the season.
Gray + cash on a permanent and it could soften the blow.

What about gray and the loan?
Re: Tark - transfer
He’s not 25/1 to stay though. Sky bet just showing 4 teams they have selected and Leicester are 1/4 on with Juventus at 33/1.Danieljwaterhouse wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 3:03 pmTake your money to SkyBet then and cash in on the BIG odds they’re offering....
1/4 to go will be 25-1 to stay
Jack Grealish is 6/4 to go to United but again no odds on him to just stay at Villa
Re: Tark - transfer
Don’t you just love these bullsh1t, unsubstantiated rumours that never materialise.
Re: Tark - transfer
Imagine if we sold Taylor, Tarkowski, Pope and McNeil and then Mike Garlick came out and said we need the money purely to plug gaps in our finances due to the virus. Unfortunately we can't make any money available to the manager.
It would be the mother of all meltdowns on here!

Re: Tark - transfer
If McNeil goes to Leicester it needs to be £40-50m - Wolves just bought a kid from Portugal who has played 12 games scoring 1 goal for £35m.
Imagine the absolute ridiculousness of us selling Tarkowski and McNeil, combined, for less than £70m. In fact, don't. Surely not?

There must be something in it for Skybet to price it up so short. Doesn't mean it's going to happen though.

I don't think our players have ever been in such demand.
But the fact remains, we need players in before any go out.

Re: Tark - transfer
If any of the main 3 players go, then we might as well sell all 3. We will certainly be around the relegation places.
Get 150m in and rebuild. Get some younger players in.
Lets see what Dyche can do if he fancies the challenge.

Re: Tark - transfer
Always, I have done already above pal.
Sometimes what you know comes off, sometimes it doesn’t!
Sometimes your source is first handy sometime it’s fifth hand!
I’d rather share it, like I have done about:
Phil Jones
Investors
Rose
McNeil
Than sit quiet and smug

Compare Maupay’s and Watkin’s stats whilst at Brentford and their transfer fees to Brighton and Villa respectively.

It will beg the question on here from many though. If this investment/takeover is going ahead why are we selling our prize asset?Danieljwaterhouse wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 4:11 pmNo I am bang on either the investors....

There isn’t a price for Dwight to stay, all skybet are saying with that is if he goes anywhere it is likely to be to Leicester.
