Rhian Brewster for £25 million anyone?
10 goals in 20 games in the championship, 20yrs old.
Swansea want him back on loan naturally, but Liverpool will accept offers of £25million it's rumoured.
So much for Covid lowering transfer fees.

Track record for getting big fees for average players, Jordan Ibe, Dominic Solanke

We don’t need to be spending money on a striker this window, other positions are a higher priority.

If we needed a striker, I'd say Burnley should go for him... Get him on a 5-year deal, develop him and ease him into the first team over 24 months - maybe a long term replacement for Barnes or if we sell Wood, is Vydra in Dyches long term plans?
We might make a decent bit of profit if he does well and someone to either sell or use in The Championship if we get relegated maybe?
Its looks like the prices for stikers are going up - I remember posting my rough evaluations - an anticipated 10 goal a season with little no top-flight experience was about £15m upwards
Looks like its somewhere between £20m - £30m now

I don’t think we should sign him but in today’s market I don’t think that’s a bad price. 10 goes in 20 games is very good considering he was only 19 at the time. Clearly the price is based on his potential and the fact he can score goals at championship level.
He definitely has potential. I got him up to a 92 rating on fifa 2017

If Eddie wasn’t currently out of work he’d have snapped him up.

Unfortunately the Liverpool player we could have done with has gone to Brighton.

Might catch a few with that, Inchy.
I think Brewster might be worth a gamble at that price. The lad has some real promise.
All hypothetical of course, there's nothing other than "rumour has it" to all of this.

Bournemouth have just lost Callum Wilson. Surely they're due to once again overpay for a Liverpool youth prospect.
