Oh dear, he hasn't done himself any favours there.
I get the impression there's something else that triggered things, probably to do with his son, or the mother, but the comments make no sense - You don't have 3 wake up calls within a year, that just shows he isn't waking up.

The bit that got me was, I won't drink and drive again, I don't drive haha
The lad has a screw loose. He's in a better position than most to help himself, he sounds very angry and bitter and people don't tend to be successful when those are their traits... those that can overcome those feelings tend to find success though.

He has been very honest about his feelings, but clearly doesn't realise it makes him sound like a knobhead

I find Drinwater's comment offensive to loaves of bread.

Rowls stands in solidarity with all the budget loaves of godawful long life Thorneywood processed bread who happen to resemble Danny Drinkwater.

Headbutting Jota was out of order, but Google translating his apology into Spanish should have more than made up for it

Wouldn't have him anywhere this club again if it was up to me either

What a shambolic interview. I’d like to think that any football manager or chairman who may have considered signing him will think again. Practically zero remorse or accountability shown for his actions, everything is someone else’s fault. He’s had another wake up call - like this one will be any different. What a petulant little child.

Remember the posters on here who were praising Dean Smith’s management of him in contrast to Dyche’s?!

Haha. I wonder if some of the people making early comments on that thread can come up with better excuses that Mr Wonderloaf did in the article?

There are a few comments under the Telegraph article now (not much by way of sympathy there) and I note this one:
"Sean Dyche seems like a very good man manager so, if he cannot get a tune out of this guy, then I doubt anyone will do so. Maybe a club in the Championship or abroad will take a punt on him if he takes a big pay cut, given that "money doesn't solve anything"."
That (not obviously from a Claret) shows a bit more acumen than some of the views on the link above.

I do wonder sometimes if some people on here genuinely dislike Dyche and won't give him any credit for what he's achieved thus far.

It's either that or they're just effing idiots.

Seems proud that he hasn't been in a nightclub since his "incident". Probably down to the fact that nightclubs have been closed for the majority of the year?

Quite right I noticed that too. He stipulated English or perhaps it was British nightclub.... not that he had not been to a nightclub.
