Lancashire League 13/9

Post by Local cricketer » Sun Sep 13, 2020 12:42 pm

Last day off the season today. Good luck to all and thanks to every one for pulling together and getting some cricket in this summer.

Anyone know why the Presidents Cup final has been switched to Rammy?

Church should have been at home but they were unable to stage it.

House home v Haslingden. Hassy 30/2 from 8. Toxy with both wickets.

Not the last day..not for House anyway. We are away to Colne next Sunday.
Lenny needs to see how a proper team play before the season ends ;-) :-D

I’m getting slower in my old age. It took me a while to work out the Michelle.

Is there a nicer place to watch local cricket than Todmorden CC, on a sunny day?

Lowerhouse's Liberty Heap took 3/33 in 10 overs for Lancashire Thunder in a rare win, over Loughborough Lightening at Liverpool today. This follows her 1/30 off 5 overs on Thursday, in a loss against Northern Diamonds, when she trapped England International Jenny Gunn lbw for 29 ....

Outstanding performance for a 15 year old ! :)

Looking at the timing of your last two posts you must move at a hell of a pace, especially after 6 pints.

Enjoyable game in great sunshine at Nelson with the home side beating Gt Harwood by (about?) 40 runs (I had a few pints! Sorry, very unprofessional!)

I’d ignore it mate, it’s either the person I think it is or one of the players, either way it’s embarrassing. I was there that week he was by the he pizza van, it’s not difficult

Sad to do that to your supporters but not surprised
