Need Vilas to bat through. RR shouldn't be a problem, but the wickets might be.

The Red Rose is in full bloom in Leeds this evening, as the white petals fall from the Yorkshire flower and it slowly wilts and dies......Same again Thursday lads.

A 3rd consecutive win for Lancashire at Tinpot Headingley in the roses blast games. A comfortable 6 wicket win, despite not having Jennings, Mahmood or Buttler.

And what is that Headingley outfield like? Rutted, soft, loose under foot.... like fielding in the 2nd day of Glastonbury.

Tinpot.

PS.... Bodge, didn’t John McGinley bowl well.... what a legend.

Has anyone on here applied for the ballot to watch the game on Thursday from the hotel at the ground?

Well that was easy wasn't it, Lancs have one foot in the KO stages, another win on Thursday and it'll be all but confirmed. :D

Just checking in from abroad, great to see the inferiority complex is still going strong.

Champagne corks are popping at Slogging HQ.

Bottom of the priority list this for any serious county,

That’s why York’s signed Malan.... another load of cash splurged on failing to get out of the groups.

Like all the world’s best performers he wants to play at the best County.
Fair play to Lanky you’ve proved yourselves plucky underdogs recently.
