Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Match Thread
Some positives at half time:
We are not losing by more than 1.
We are really starting to show some consistency in the cups. Consistently Abysmal.

Challenge on JBG described as a horrible challenge on talksport.
Dyche will be doing his nut.

Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Match Thread
Playing okay without any cutting edge. That said, the opposition don't look much either. I'd give some of the kids a run out.

It's Lincoln all over again. Horrible challenge, JBG out for months, we lose 1-0.Father Jack wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 6:21 pmChallenge on JBG described as a horrible challenge on talksport.

Well,
I'll do the positives:
Brownhill...very industrious, pick of our midfield
Rodriguez...shows a bit of class when he gets the chance
That's about it

Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Match Thread
I know people are debating how many first teamers are out there but if McNeil/Wood/Tarkowski aren’t then the answer is irrelevant. The absolute difference.

Against average teams too
Re: Burnley v Sheffield United - Match Thread
JBG is the only thing of note. Nothing else matters.

Cork was in the stands with no protective boot on, so that's s positive.
I was told a fee was nearly agreed 10 days ago now, then all went quiet. Like most, I'm not sure what the hell is going on anymore.

Anyone know why this game is not being covered by Clarets Player?

It was filthy and intentional. Won the ball then left one in on JBG. No way he was getting up from that.Cubanclaret wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 6:03 pmCommentary on talksport 2 - they described Robinson’s challenge on JBG as a ‘terrible tackle’

Only slight positive with the JBG injury is that it has happened whilst the transfer window is still open

Sick to the pit of my stomach about JBG.
Turned down Iceland to focus on being fit for us and seemed like he was in a good place.
Such a shame.

I'd think more likely the latter seeing as their expertise is finance/business sector.FactualFrank wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 6:20 pmAny guesses regarding what department the news is related to? Like signings or takeover.

Get over it
I'm more worried about what's going to happen this season than years ago

Where`s VAR when you need it.
Not that that`s going to help JBG, just getting back from one knee injury, potential career threatening foul

Oh! never noticed we'd had so much of the ball, we're always rubbish when we control possession, apart from the Vydra chance we've created little though. And they're a constant danger on the break, I don't expect anything in cups anymore so I'm not disappointed, the bigger worry is JBG and Tarks injuries, we're getting dangerously low on numbers.

Would have liked to have seen a TV replay of MV's starting position for the offside decision, he rarely gets caught offside .

If Brady’s right foot was for anything other than standing on, 1-1.
