will it really make you feel better if he did that ? Of course they fall out, they are both under a lot of pressure to concentrate on different things, both with the clubs best interests in mind. Apart from a frustrating time being shared by all I really do not think there is the ticking time bomb so many on here seem to imagine.
I am however glad Burnley will never need to depend on some of you if a crisis ever did come along.

Think it’s more the public airing of the falling out on Dyche’s part that is the worry.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 7:30 pmOf course they fall out, they are both under a lot of pressure to concentrate on different things, both with the clubs best interests in mind. He has always moaned in post match interviews. I remember one occasion when it looked like he would walk a few seasons back, thinking, at least a new gaffer might be more positive to the public. Honestly think it is all part of the Burnley way of making sure we stay under everyone’s radar.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote: ↑Sat Sep 19, 2020 7:36 pmThink it’s more the public airing of the falling out on Dyche’s part that is the worry.
Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Man United need a CB not Salford. I'm sorry but dissect it and remove the 10 players defending the box ahead of tarks and in no way is he good enough to play for a top team. Zero pace for a start.

I'm sorry but be real he ain't good enough for a top team. If you think he is then fair enough but he can't defend like you need to for a top side he will get exposed.

He was good enough for a top 10 team in the best league in the world last season, but as others like me already know, you’re a troll from down the road so do us all a favour and get back to fiddling with horses and watching lower league football.

United have to great CB’s in McGuire and Linderlof, there weakness is Smallings strength, in the turn. When everything is played in front of them they’re world class. They’d be world class if Ole set them up as a deep block. He needs to set them up deep, tuck the fullbacks in for the cover on the turn and play a genuine protector infront of the back 4.

Seems a Dyvhe type player, let's hope some rumour of him coming starts doing the rounds.

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Still waiting for that news
I'm not one to normally criticise the club but if Tarks is still injured then starting the season with 14 fit senior players isn't good enough in the PL. Surely the board can see this and we have to bring in 2 or 3 squad players at the very least.

Like Mr Dyche said, it's not something that's crept up on us, he highlighted these impending issues 2 years ago.
The fact the manager and some fans saw it makes you wonder what the plan actually was, or if there even was one at all.
Think the fact Mr Dyche has consistently worked miracles and got results has made the board get complacent and take him for granted.
Be a real shame when they drive out our best manager in many a generation and likely to have for a long time after.
Sasly, the decline of our club will start the day Mr Dyche leaves this club

Ha ha ha, suppose he ticks all the boxes, although I'm sure he is now option L, M or N for Mr Dyche.
Least it shows Mike Rigg has been busy, which will please some fans.

Dale Stephens, really? Again? I can't decide if it's lazy journalism or actually a likelihood.
Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Hahahaha absolutely brilliant if we finally manage to sign both Dawson and Stephens. Only been 6 and 4 years in the making!!

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
As things stand I would be happy with Dawson and Stephens as back ups but we at the very least need a right with pace like Samuel or Ellison.
At least those three signings would give us a chance of another good season.

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
If we are so strapped for cash then, barring Tarks going, loans look to be our only option
Yes, they still cost money in terms of fees and wages but if we are seen to be able to offer the chance of some Prem action (if only from the bench) for good youngsters at the top clubs I would think there is a chance to get a couple of deals done
The first one in my mind would be Curtis Jones at Liverpool. Already played in some first team games but recent signings of Jota and Thiago will mean he has very little chance this year apart from cups
Ideal for cm and Brownhill could then be moved wide to cover for JBG

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
In fairness, we only need 3 in to have a good enough squad for the season.
If we get a cb back up like Dawson, a centre mid back up like Stephens and a new right sided player like eliasson we would be quite good for the season.
Pope/BPF/Norris
Lowton/Bardsley
Taylor/Pieters
Tarks/Mee/New/Long
Cork/Westwood/brownhill/new
Gudmundsson/New
Mcniel/Brady
Woood/Jay/Vyds/Barnes
That’s as good a squad as we have had in the Dyche era we just need a couple of relatively cheap signings to secure it.
The problem then lies in that almost all of those players are approaching/over 30.

OGS maybe available shortly.
Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
The problem atm is that we currently only have 14 fit and available senior players in our squad. And even when all of our 5 injured players are fit, whenever that is,then we still need about another 3/4 players

Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
If we sign a conveyor belt centre half and a good, young winger (big money signing), I’d take Stephens all day long.
If it’s the same old shite with loads of 30-somethings signing, I’d be annoyed.

Then it really is time to bring in a few of the senior under 23s. Other clubs do it.

To be fair I will question Mike Rigg’s usefulness if Dawson and Stephens are the targets now

12 main first team players expected for today's game, plus any youth players making up the rest of the bench.

We are not broke. We have/had £40m cash in the bank. Most clubs would love to be in that position. You never pay all up front so arguably we could spend £40m this window but only have to outlay £20m. Or we could just take a bit of low cost debt to see us through covid. That would be much better business sense than losing Sean and accepting the inevitable decline.
Back Dyche!!!!
Re: BFC TRANSFER NEWS SUMMER 2020(MUST CONTAIN LINK)
Stephens ? Desperate stuff if true. Don’t know whether to laugh or cry. There will be bucket collections outside Turf Moor soon. Derek Riordan could perhaps still do a job or we could get Crouch back for some banter.
