We'll get another chance, that's why we need to stick in, they don't exactly look watertight at the back.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 8:13 pmShades of our 2-2 draw when Wallace scores in the 96th minute.
We’re down on our luck, struggling for bodies, and nobody expects anything other than a pummelling.
Believe.

Pretty pathetic second half.
We’re in real trouble unless we get reinforcements in.

This could get messy now. Look all at sea at the back when they are around our box.
Re: Leicester v Burnley - Match day thread
Could be worse, we could be at home being beat 0-3 by Brighton...

Very unlucky with all 3 of their goals today. We would beat them on another day. I still think tarks would have cut out so many of their opportunities....

The only person to blame for this defeat is Garlick.

Re: Leicester v Burnley - Match day thread
Dunne has played well tonight. A shame it's all gone to pot.

Game over. There are players out there who simply shouldn’t be out there.

They’re not called apologists, they’re called supporters, surprised you’ve posted something else negative. NotRight_winger wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 8:19 pmWhere’s all the apologists now? The realists say... we told you so

We're wide open down the left.
They're scared of Bardsley and know Pieter is slow.

I'm sorry but Pieter's in midfield is a total waste of time

I remember Knockaert turning our defence in our own box against Brighton a few years ago in a similar fashion. You just can't commit two or three players to a man when they do that.

Bardsley in no man’s land for that goal.
Re: Leicester v Burnley - Match day thread
So many good things early on ruined by shocking defending and then an own goal. They can smell blood and we look totally lost now.

Love Brownhill. After giving the ball away runs back and takes out Vardy with that block.

Re: Leicester v Burnley - Match day thread
I'm turning this off, I don't know why but I'm getting unusually wound up by tonight's game much more than usual. No offence to him personally, but I think the realisation that after 5 years of dry powder the best we have is a 35 year old Phil Bardsley at right back is upsetting. And also a joke.

I do think we can get another goal on the break. We look nice and creative up front.
Sadly though I can see us shipping another 2 before we get that 2nd goal

Re: Leicester v Burnley - Match day thread
So relegation battle this year which many felt was on the cards as it is most years,
If we did go down the rebuilding job would be massive - no pope - tarky - Taylor - wood - Westwood - MCNeil all would go for money but still hard to replace

Re: Leicester v Burnley - Match day thread
Couldn't agree more. I knew we were going to get pumped today so I've been particularly watching our back 4, Dunne and Taylor have held the line well, Long is always 2-3 yards in front of them and Bardo has been 2-3 yards behind them - so the organization hasn't been spot on for sureConroysleftfoot wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 8:22 pmYou can see how we are now missing the organisation with Mee and Tarky
FWIW I think we've done ok given the circumstance of having half a team missing and I think Dunne has done more than enough to put the Worrall transfer to bed
