Reports from Wales that a county is now in local lockdown after a cluster of cases linked to a club trip by coach to Doncaster races last week.
The coach stopped at a number of pubs both on the way there and the way back.

We really do seem to be shooting ourselves in the foot.

Go to any working mans club or golf club and you'll see plenty of older people completely ignoring any social distancing or mask wearing rules as well.
But obviously its easier to pin the blame on young people, who have probablyhad to sacrifice more than anyone and received no thanks whatsoever from a lot of the older generation.

Go to any illegal rave or night club and you will see the young people not giving a ***** about social distancing either.. Go to your local park and see them in large groups vandalising the hard work done by those elderly folks ..Swings and roundabouts

How many golf clubs, or working mens clubs are you basing that on? How many have you been in recently?

Yes, felt inevitable. Easier mentally to write the season off, as a fan at least, and go and watch - or play if you're young enough - some grassroots football.

Getting away from the ludicrous money, media guff, instagram accounts and billionaire owners is really refreshing. You almost forget what a good game football is when it's just about 22 guys or girls competing on a level playing field and not about how many twitter likes a signing will get you in Singapore.

I'd still love to get back on a full Turf, but might as well do something different for now and make the most of a weird situation.

It's got nothing to do with him spreading the virus but everything to do with the impression he gave.

Cummings set a precedent by his actions, therefore he should shoulder blame and should definitely have either resigned ( fat chance) or been sacked.

Wonder what the legal aspect is regarding clubs playing behind closed doors?

As they are a business are they expected to just carry on playing without any incoming coming in and thousands going to players and staff on a weekly basis?

I'm surprised no clubs are threatening to down tools.

I believe clubs below tier 7 can still have up to 500 people in so many of those might survive.
National League for example will be in big trouble.
