how long will they give solskjaer ?

Post by Wile E Coyote » Mon Sep 21, 2020 9:41 pm

How much time do you think they'll allow him if they just become an okayish sort of team.
One game in isn't a yardstick for anyone, but there are constant rumblings with utd simply because of who they are.
I thought moyes should have been backed to the hilt, and that post fergie, they massively overreacted by binning him too soon.
I don't know who'll be regarded as the next appointee should ole get the heave ho, but for all the talk of giving people time, this doesn't seem likely to continue if the results are poor.
van gaal and mourinho were flops despite the hype.

Who’s ever in charge of transfers as been appalling since fergie left. They needed to go out and spend on 4/5 like Chelsea have this summer. They were the best team (points wise) since they signed Fernandes. A player like Bale, good CH and they ain’t far off.

They could appoint Guardiola or Klopp and would still have the same issues, with Woodward upstairs. The biggest hit they took was Gill leaving, rather then Fergie, although the Brian Laws type appointment of Moyes didnt help.

They finished 3rd last season.
He's gonna get more time yet, especially if he can get that team to gel.

The Goalkeeper situation will potentially end up being a distraction if he's not careful.

They also need a top class centre back and defensive mid.

Sort out those 3 issues and they'll potentially have another good season.
