We've had several PM's been promoted above their ability but you've labelled him the worst in your lifetime.
The two aren’t mutually exclusive

I like him.

Not sure I like how he’s dealing with Covid, tweaking the rules every two weeks, but I like him & would prefer him to the alternative at the moment.

Very much a man's man politician in my opinion, with flaws admittedly but doesn't shirk responsibility & represents the british bulldog spirit we've been woefully lacking for years regarding other PMs, I can't think of anybody else instantly recovering from the virus & still leading the country for that he commands respect.

I hope we have a catchy new three step slogan for the announcement at 8.

That’s proper leadership.

May - lacked any real spine or authority.

Brown - just toss.

Major - meh

All 3 promoted above their ability, yet suddenly the media are valuing their opinions because they're Pro-EU etc.

They aren't that bad, but the hatchet job by the media and Civil service makes them look worse

If the alternative is Labour's front bench then we clearly dodged a bullet.

How can people think he's any good when he simply follows what the First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon does in Scotland?

Gove, Hancock, Patel, williamson, are absolutely horrific.

Labour’s previous front bench yeah, jury is out on the current one.

I always find it interesting when the very people who simply cant' understand, hand, face and space, can go into minutia about anything Tory and particularly Boris, they understand complicated trade laws, racism, Irish issues, how much power the UK had in the EU, etc. but just seem incapable of understanding stay safe.

Think it shows how far the UK has fallen as a country when you ignore the blatant lies, corruption, different rules for the privileged, the shocking handling of Covid including using the old as cannon fodder & debt they ran the country into before Covid. This is just the start, wait till the NHS is gone, works contracts a thing of the past, when you’re working on US employment terms there will be real tears, but hey just doff yer cap & take it....

and I am absolutely certain they don't, Boris doesn't spread a virus around the world by himself, I'll go as far as to say I am 100% certain people spread it. Next you'll be telling us you're pretty certain everyone understands it and follows those simple rules. I noticed with interest on another post it was all the kettle's fault at work that was causing it, the spread that is, and therefore it was a good reason not to go back to work.

ohhhh how silly of me not to understand that, I am easily confused and thought people were saying it's all Boris's fault, all of it, plus of course we did have the other thread where the usual suspects said they can't understand stay safe, that was just to complicated. Even here, we have plenty saying they can't understand the rules, surely if you don't follow them and you know that you have a chance of killing yourself and a good chance of killing immediate family plus numerous strangers then it's because you don't understand. Or is it your contention that they are deliberately spreading a deadly virus knowing the death rate will go up, perhaps then they can blame Boris for it, no of course not, no one would do that, would they.

Yet it's all Boris's fault, isn't it?

Not all his fault no, he can share the majority of the blame with his cabinet and Cummings.

And Of course a section of the public are complete idiots and would be no matter who was PM but his leadership has certainly made others not bother with the rules too.

Anywhere the thread was about do you like him, I don’t.

I'm counting but haven't got to one yet. 'Shi*ts, shysters and charlatans' is how he and his cronies were referred to earlier this year. They've not disappointed.

The thread title is "Boris Watch"

The majority of British people believe he and his government are doing a good job in unprecedented circumstances.

They've built a hospital for 4000 patients out of thin air in a matter of days , FFS is a minor miracle!!

But even that wont be good enough for those political point scoring lefties whose motto is

"Dont let a good crisis go to waste"
The left are still at it

You could start off by explaining why you dislike boris johnson I'm assuming that's the case? it's the easiest thing in world to do to criticise & judge other people when you are not standing in their shoes, if you are polite enough to respond the explanation could include what you feels gone wrong & what should have been done to right them wrongs if multiple mistakes are applicable during his leadership.

Interesting that two of the leaders in the world with a bolshie attitude also have some of the highest rates of death and casualties from the virus, namely Trump & Johnson.

But both leaders of the worlds 2 most stupidest, selfish and paranoid populations.
Exactly but let's just blame 2 people & absolve millions & millions of people for any wrongdoings.

Believe it or not you can think Boris is a f*cking moron and also not be a leftist.

Any right minded Tory voter can see Boris for the clown he is

That’s the trouble with the far extremes of both sides of the house, no balance.

There’s a difference between understanding it and taking notice of it.
We’ve had a senior government advisor take his sick wife across the country, and then have a sixty mile trip for an eye test - and not resign or even apologise. The government asking us to go out to eat, and go into the office. Now it turns out that people working from home were right all along.

There’s no joined up thinking by the government. They’re oversteering the whole time.
