Can’t see him coming here, can’t see him wanting to go to Tottenham. West Brom seems a legit move.
Not a bad move for them if so, teams need leaders and Premier league experience and he'd bring both.

West Ham is surely smoke and mirrors and they’ll be a serious offer and club working away to sign Tarks.

My fear is Newcastle and the obvious Leicester
Leicester are strapped for cash as well, king power as taken a big hit due to covid, and FFP as well.

Gomez plays for England - tarks isn't even in the squad
Otamendi plays for Argentina and has won the premier League
I'd have lindelof or.maguire ahead of tarks anyday
Ruduger is a German international and premier League winner
Luiz is just luiz brilliantly awful
Keane is better than tarks
The rest are debatable
Those are debatable.
Tarkowski was better at defending than Gomez last season. The fact that Southgate favours players that came through the system is a problem not a solution.
Otamendi - so what, Tarkowski was better last season.
Lindelof - was just out muscled by Zaha but nevertheless Tarkowski was better at defending than Lindelof last season.
Rudiger - Tarkowski was better at defending than Rudiger last season.
Luiz - Tarkowski was better at defending than Luiz last season.
Keane - Tarkowski was better at defending than Keane last season.
Opinions eh.

Mine is yours are out of time.

Gomez was a regular for a team that won the league at a canter last season, he can't have been that bad! As good as Van Dyk is you don't get 90 plus points carrying any passengers.

Rather have TarKa with a bad toe than 2 x Gomez. No question who is the better defender.

If we’re looking for someone to play 100 passes per game to the other centre back then Gomez every time

Remember what Son did to our full team last season and then come back and claim tarkowski is a top level defender.

Yep, and those Arsenal players are all rubbish, cos you just have to look what Ryan Giggs did to them in the semi at Villa Park.

Son had a great run in one game - would be bad to get rid of 6 players because that. Traore beat 58 players last season they’d have to go too. Let’s not bring Zaha into it

Tarkowski was in Spurs’s box attacking a free kick when Son collected the ball. At no point was he between Son and our goal.

Will be easier to judge Tarkowski when he moves on to a bigger club. Personally I think he may get found out a bit without the amount of protection he gets playing in our defence. I don't think he's any better than Michael Keane.

I didn't say he was bad, I said JT is a better defender. Gomez has a much easier time of it. Remember how much possession Liverpool have compared to us.

Apparently the sell on fee is £27.5%, so that’s £29m for us and £11m for Brentford.

Would rather keep Tarks for 2 more years. Averages out at £14.5m a year and he would more than repay that in league position £.
that's not correct - the sell on clause only applies to the profit from the transfer. I don't remember what we paid for Tarks tbh but that would need deducting from any transfer fee before calculating Brentford's wedge

To be fair the Italians get the puffer jackets out as soon as it drops below 25 degrees.

Isn't that the Old Den in the background?

A few lions have appeared in there in years gone by.

Tarks probably travelled down to London early.

The more obvious sign that this wasn’t today is that no one is wearing a face mask, which is currently a requirement in Italy.

I think Tarkowski and his good lady are jesting at our expense here...

And it is funny :D

Brits would never be dressed like that on hols in Rome when it's 27 degrees, nonsense. A bit of wind and it's fresh for the Italians but 27 degrees at 17/18 and people aren't wearing jackets like those 2 in the background. Get real people, this wasn't today. To me Tarks looks a bit younger and not as big as he is today, it was probably a few years ago.

Obviously a very old picture. The Colosseum was built in around 80AD so it was probably taken back then.
